Yes it has!
A stark assessment of terrorism trends by American intelligence agencies has found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks.

Either way it's a bad situation. Many can make the argument for or against it. I'm partial to both situations.

Yes, by entering Iraq, we've angered many in the middle east who wouldn't have been fighting at all had we not invaded. But had we just let things in Iraq and Afghanistan go, more terrorists would have been created since especially in Afghanistan, the population of terrorists taking over the government was growing at a rapid pace.

There have always been terrorists in this world and there always will be,personally I think there are a lot of potential people in this world who are un-educated and brainwashed into doing things that a educated person wouldn't,so no President Bush didn't have anything to do with these people not getting educated,if you remember the Taliban didn't allow girls to get an education in Afghanistan and not many boys did either.Country's need to make sure there people are educated, that includes the United States. All you have to do is look at the people in our prisons ,many are un-educated.Personally I don't believe our country had much choice as there are terrorists all over the world and you just can't ignore them any longer.

I do not believe so. Those who argue that the war has caused more terrorists and grasping at straws. If the US had done nothing that would have emboldened them and their ranks would have swelled. Lose/lose situation.
