I moved out after I had given 60 days required written notice but my initial lease ends until september. I gave this notice over two months ago...now I am being told I had to pay until the end of the lease when in the beginning I was told as long as I give that 60 days notice I did not have to pay any penalties and the lease could terminate once those 60 days passed. What could happen if I do not pay?

I have a home built in the Chicago area and the soil, after the initial 4-5", is all clay. In addition, my home is on a corner lot. We then dug the foundation and put a porous soil back in against the foundation, which I believe is acting like a strainer. I have a properly installed and functioning drain tile, but due to pump failure and backup pump failure, I have had water twice. I was thinking about the challenges and thought about digging up the landscape and putting clay soil back in for about 2-4 feet to help restrict the porous nature of the soil we added.

Your advice and experience is appreciated.

I am having a very small wedding Sept. 1. I have only been planning since the the middle of July. I asked my long time best friend to be my matron of honor. I know she is going through a difficulty time (money wise) so I told her I would understand if she wasn't able to do it (she has to pay for the dress herself $60). She assured me she could and we made plans to go and get her dress 2 times in the past 2 weeks but she canceled each time with a lame excuse. She was suppose to call me back Sat and I have yet to hear from her. So, I asked someone else and the new person already went and purchased the dress. Should I have waited on my best friend? I know her feelings will be hurt but I didn't want to be stressed by waiting to the last minute. Did I do the right thing?

Conquer,Convert or kill them.

"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.

This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault.

The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.

The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God.

These “pagans” (Islam and Judaism) must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)

I am sure it was sold as something good for education and good for the people and for schools...which is the b.s. part. But knowing Bush and how he never really wants something thats good for the average citizen, what was his real malicious intent?

I am hoping people who really are familiar with the program and its effect on education will answer.

ok so i just recently upgraded my video card from an old nvidia fx 5500 256mb to an e-geforce 7600 gt 256 mb pci-e.
i have to say i really notice the really big boost in performance and quality. but the only problem is that while im playing a game it minimizes the window and i have to click it to get back in the game and as soon as i get back it does the same thing and it keeps doing it over and over again and its getting really annoying. does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

Hi everyone I need your help BADLY! In two weeks am going to start my junior year of high school and junior English classes is British lit., which will start with early writing and works its way up through the Romantics. I love Shakespeare and find him easy to understand and everything after him is written in, mostly, plain English. The only thing that really concerns me is our first unit; The King Arthur Legend. The closest I've come to these until I got the school year reading list is "Spamalot". I tried to read some of it to give myself enough background knowledge but it's SO CONFUSSING! I'm not asking anyone to do my homework all I'm asking for is for some incredibly kind person to give me a brief summary of the story (key facts), a list of the main characters and I'll do the rest myself. I just need HELP! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my GPA.

Lot of time, as I spend reading the word and prayer, I tell God that I won't do this and that. I see myself, asking God to forgive me, confessing my sins and asking him to renew my first love for him. I exhale my sins and inhale the word. But lot of times, I see myself, falling into temptation, doing same sins over again. (too much time into internet, not having a loving heart, putting other priority first other than God. How can I be pure, experience his power, love? it seems like when I make commitment, it seems temporily. How can I feel not defeated? I spent time doing quite times/ prayer but how can I really be Christ minded?

I have a Myspace account but recently got Facebook b/c my cousins have it so I can keep in touch with them. Anyways, maybe I'm use to being able to personalize my myspace page and there's all these fun things I can do in it. I like to play with quick animations and I can even post them on myspace. I'm having a hard time with Facebook. It's not eye friendly, there's not much to play with and worst I cant post my lil animation stuff on my facebook profile pic. Since I'm pretty new to this facebook, are there things I can do to change the layout, colors, animation, etc. Does Facebook use HTML codes like Myspace? Can anyone teach me some stuff about Facebook to make it more fun for me? THANKS

4 years ago, I gave birth to a little girl. Her father didn't want any children and I was on birth control when I concieved. We went our seperate ways. I fianlly went after a DNA test to prove that he was the father becuase he has denied her to his family. BUt he has said to me the he beleived he was her father. I have not asked him for child support, and I will not, I wish for him to sign off so that my husband may adopt her. However I still wish for her to know her father's family. Am I doing the right thing by her, asking them to give my child a chance?
