LOVE it...due to LONG family history with Notre Dame...Grandfather taught there, father and 6 uncles and several cousins went there...

Im an Indiana native and about 2 hours from South Bend. I love Notre Dame mainly because I grew up watching the irish and going to games. If you ever get a chance, go to the University and watch a game, you will get a better understanding of why people love Notre Dame.

I'm pretty indifferent. From a historic standpoint they are a very intriguing team obviously. They have quite a history of games and players, but they haven't been that great in the past few years. They've been good but they haven't been on the level such as USC. Actually though, I find a good team who also has a great history, but not too championship winning, and has a great coach like Penn State to probably be more interesting.

I like Norte Dame they are one of the best football programs out there with alot of history. I personally am a Oklahoma football fan but am excited the OU and Norte Dame will be playing here in a few years.

The only time I hate it is when my beloved buckeyes are playing and the stupid catholic HS next door to me is having their band practice and playing the ND fight song. I mean show a little loyalty, we are 5 minutes from the OSU campus. All my Mick friends are huge fans, so I know a lot about them and tend to root for them when they are not playing against the big ten.
PS they should have never fired Willingham, and really shouldn't have hired Weis. Der, let's go for it on 4th and 45, I think we can make it.

I hate them because every year they are so overrated in the polls! They have really good records because most, NOT ALL, the teams they play aren't good. They aren't forced to play difficult teams because they are Independent and not willing to join a conference. I would not have a problem with ND if they weren't so hyped up and overrated.

Hate them. They are consistently the most overrated team in the NCAA. The fact that they made a BCS bowl last year was a joke.

Love them because they were my grandpas favorite team but they're my second favorite team behind the University of Texas.
