Lot of time, as I spend reading the word and prayer, I tell God that I won't do this and that. I see myself, asking God to forgive me, confessing my sins and asking him to renew my first love for him. I exhale my sins and inhale the word. But lot of times, I see myself, falling into temptation, doing same sins over again. (too much time into internet, not having a loving heart, putting other priority first other than God. How can I be pure, experience his power, love? it seems like when I make commitment, it seems temporily. How can I feel not defeated? I spent time doing quite times/ prayer but how can I really be Christ minded?

Stop looking at porn you pervert.

Honestly just give up and accept that you are praying to nothing.

It is very good that you are praying and trying to stop falling under temptations. Just note that the Bible explains that once you get delivered from one temptation, it will come back at you seven times harder than the last time. I am struggling with similar situations. It is hard and will only get harder as you venture down the road. The only thing you can do is continue to pray and believe in your heart that God will help you through whatever the circumstance. By you praying and reading the Bible, you are arming yourself for battles yet to come. Matthew and Mark explain that with God, all things are possible. Psalms asks the question, "When God is with me, whom shall I fear?" When the Lord is by your side, there is nothing to be afraid of because God will be there to protect you. Hope this helps!!!

Paul talked about what you are describing when he said "the sin I don't want to do, I keep on doing." It's a harsh reality, but our bodies are still slaves to it no matter how hard we try physically.

One incredibly terrible way that Satan renders us useless is to keep us backed into a corner. If you believe that your sins were paid for, then take heart that "it is no longer I who do it, but the sin that lives in me." Your sin has been paid for. That's right, even the stuff you feel run down by, and even the stuff you will still do in the future.

If you believe that you are forgiven, then BELIEVE God when he said that He took it from you. That doesn't mean we shouldn't stop trying. It means that even though the enemy's stragglers are still hopelessly hanging on, the war is over, and those things won't cause you to be lost. You are HIS, and no one else's.

The flesh is weak. You won't be sin free until God does away with evil.

Keep praying dear, you are more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ. He will see you through.
