Conquer,Convert or kill them.

"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.

This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault.

The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.

The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God.

These “pagans” (Islam and Judaism) must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)

I think you confusing the political aspirations of the Catholic church with people that hold faith in Jesus Christ. Look at the Knights Templer, as an organization the controlled all trade to the east and because of that grew very rich and held a lot of power. Was that an altruistic organization or a business.. While many of the individual knights were wonderful Christians the organization was in it for the money. Those that brought saint, and Mary worship into their churches were not Christians at all again power and money drove their motives. Still there were believers in Christ that survived and carried the Spirit of God though the ages. Those Christians were never in power anywhere nor did they ever have much wealth as the world see wealth. But to look at the Catholic church of that era and say that IS Christianity is just false... I for one do not believe the Catholic Church to be the true Christian church, I have many arguments against it, some of which you point out. But as a Christian, I have no argument with Jews, God set the nation of Israel apart from the other nations for a reason, Christians are in the same spiritual family tree as the Jews, whether they accept Jesus or not. As for Muslims, they are pretty much out in the pucker brush when it comes to Jesus, so I don't rightly care what they believe or do.

No. There have been those long ago who claimed to be Christians and did atrocities but Jesus said:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."(Matthew 7:21)NIV

Jesus taught on the wheat and the tares(weeds):

"Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
"The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'
" 'An enemy did this,' he replied.
"The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?'
" 'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let BOTH GROW TOGETHER until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' "(Matthew 13:24-30)NIV

Jesus taught " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."(Matthew22:37-40)NIV
and
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."(Luke 6:26-28)NIV

Your living in ancient history. How about getting up to date.
Jews and Christians hate each other?? News to me.
Muslims believe any non-Muslim is not worth anything. Don't know if hate is the right word.
Islam believes you should be dead. I should be dead. Jews should be dead. Anyone who disagrees with Islam or has no opinion concerning Islam should be dead.

By the way, there is only one God who has revealed himself in 3 parts. He can do that, you know. He is God.

Pretty much every religion has a long tradition of hating people it doesn't agree with, or who don't agree with them. Christians, Muslims, Jews, they all hate and are hated. It seems to be the nature with which they regard themselves, and others. Hate is a human emotion, and is perpetrated by humans. Sadly, religion is a really good reason for most people to fuel it.

well islam doesnt teach the peace, as catholic and christian.. we dont live in the middle ages anymore.. we had times where the economic power was more powerful than faith, the crusades were by economic interests.. as catholic the virgin mary is mother of the believers and mother of God.. jesus christ is God himself.. he revealed as God..and the problems with islam and judaism should be fixed by the time.. now we dont have problems with them, because the catholics we dont try to convert them.. they are part of the abraham faith.. only protestants try to convert them ..

1st off where in the Bible does jesus ever say Trinity-father son & holy ghost? that concept made up..

plz remember (christians) IF they hate Jews..that Christ WAS a JEW and in fact was a Rabbi too. the historical Jesus will reveal.

btw you Do realize all Rabbis were Married in JC's
time.?

much speculation JC was married to Maggie girl--aka Mary Magdalene and they had at least One Daughter...when Maggie & kid fled to France after JC's crucifixion-in fear that they too would be killed..

ever hear of Arian nation? supposed descendents (biological) of Jesus.. living in France to this day it's in France's history.
also your above quote in reverse..
.Koran (Quoran) states that Muslim men-must KILL the 'Infidel ' (anyone who not converts to Islam ) then 'allah' will reward the killer with 32 Virgins after his death.. such as do Iraqi suicide car bombers daily.
