I have not done light as a feather, stiff as a board in years, but I rememeber there was no explanation to how I, a 125 lbs female and 3 other smaller females were able to lift my guy friend of some 220 lbs, with JUST our finger tips, and how they could lift me?
Do you think that this practice was mind over matter, dark magic, evil??? have you ever performed this kind of levitation?

I've had my Discus tank up and running for about 2 months now. I was told by breeders and other discus experts to do 25% weekly water changers. I have a 55 gallon tank so I am taking 10 gallons out each week.

To me this seems like quite a bit. Wouldn't it start a new cycle each time I do a water change? I have a fluval filter and 3 packages of the Biomax balls, so is this why it doesn't start a cycle each time?

I've had fishtanks for about 10 years now, but until recently, I've never did any water changes or knew much, if anything, about water cycles. Could somebody help me out on this?

Also, since the biomax balls carry all of the beneficial bacteria, wouldn't it make sense to never replace them with new ones? Fluval recommends changing it once every 3 months, staggering the replacements. Is this just a way for them to make money? I don't see why I should replace it.

Thanks for any help!

I got this forwarded email, and I'm wondering about its validity.

On Monday, 27 August 2007, there will be two moons
in the night sky. In addition to the earth's moon,
planet Mars will shine the brightest. It will
look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This
will happen on Aug. 27, when Mars comes within 34.65M
miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27
at 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons!
The next time Mars comes this close is in 2287.

My husband and I would like to renew our wedding vows for our 10-year anniversary. Our wedding had no planning involved. We got married at the courthouse with only a handful of people (7 or 8) I didn't even invite my dad :( , and we didn't have a reception to celebrate. I'm wondering if it would be completely tacky to plan a wedding like I would've wanted it. We are talking about having a ceremony in my husband's parent's backyard. Would a reception at a hall with the D.J. and catered food be too over the top? What about the wedding dress. Any advice about this would be very helpful. I don't want to look like a selfish spoiled brat because I didn't get my wedding the way I wanted it the first time.

Since the beginning of known history, Religion in nearly all its forms, has cost an incalculable number of human lives over time. If almost all religions claim spirituality and goodness and triumph over evil, doesn't it seem odd that so much pain can come from something that is supposed to be inherently good? Human fault may be to blame, and probably is in most cases, but what IF there is something more complex to it all. Evil is enticing in all its forms, Lucifer is said to be the most beautiful and God's favorite angel. There is no doubt that he is clever. Confusion and chaos, anarchy, these are his tools. Nothing creates more personal, or societal, confusion than religion. Coincidence? You tell me...

Im writing a story... and im one of the main characters... but im tired of using "Kat" (and the like) for my name. In my story im at a prep school (where you live in the dorms and yada) but it's an art school, and im there for Ballet and Theatre. I need a pretty name that I look like I can have. And fits my personality. Im fun and somewhat quirky, super bubbley... but totally unique, and I love nature. This is what I look like :
my hair is short... almost platinum (but not in a cheap looking way, because im naturally blonde) curly hair (how I wear it the most) and im tan-er (naturally) and green eyes im short, and petite.

My hair is naturally curly. But it is now frizzy from trying to straighten it. When I said unperm, I meant that the lady who cuts my hair tried a chemical in it that is the reverse of a perm. after this my hair became frizzy. I have tried John Frieda, Paul Mitchell, Infusium 23, Sunsilk, over night conditioner, and other products. even when I get out of the shower my hair is frizzy. What can I do to help my hair be less frizzy?????

I will admit that I am overweight and besides walking around the workplace during the day, I really don't have time to exercise (yes walking around the workplace is not real work i know!) I know its bad to be overweight for a recent college grad, Im not obese as hell like Michael Moore, but Im not a toothpick ya know?

Im having a dillema between joining Gold's gym and joining a Rec Center with a pool. I prefer swimming laps because I use to be on the swim team as a kid and I like the water. But Im worried if I will not get the same benefits as working out in a gym.

My important goals are to:
1) Improve and have a good healthy heart rate
2) Lose weight and stay in shape
3) Gain some muscle
