As a big Kyle Petty fan, I am afraid with his TNT Broadcasting that he may be trying to end his career. could he win just one more? if he could, what track does he have the best chance?

Its a really nice thought and I too would love to see him win one more. But in all reality probably won't happen. But I'll say this, that guy represents NASCAR like no one else.Yes,he's the son of The King, but Kyle has carved his own niche in auto racing and no one can doubt his or his wife Pattie's impact on the sport we all love.It has given him many things throughout his life and it has also taken the ultimate from him.I remember a race that Kyle got taken out by a "rookie" mistake by someone (can't remember whom) but Kyle instead of being as mad as a hornet, simply went over to the guy had a heart to heart slapped his back and walked away.Pure class that guy.Be nice to have in him the booth soon full-time.But if anyone asks why I love Nascar I can point to Kyle and say, find me an athlete in any other sport with half the heart that man has and I'll watch that sport too.

Hi,
Kyle Petty will run his last season in 2008. Maybe part time from there on out. So if he is going to win I'd have to say he will win in a luck situation such as a full mileage race, etc.

Anything is possible but it is unlikely. I can't predict the track but agree it would probably be a short track in a rance where there was a huge wreck that took out a lot of top drivers and then Kyle gambling on fuel and winning by skipping the last pit stop. Something like that has to happen it seems unlikely to me but you never know when the stars might be alinged just right.

You never know. I think Kyle lost the urge to win after he lost his son, and just enjoys being there every week, in the thick of things-just because he can. But it would be great to see a Petty in victory lane again. Who knows-he may decide to go for it one last time. Or a last minute caution might put him out front. Or another driver might decide to just get behind him and push him to the front.

the only way he is going to win a race before he retires, will be one he wins on fuel milage gamble. i was a richard fan all my life growing up so i have feelings for kyle plus all the work he does for victory junction, but the petty orginisation just cant compete with the money and power of hendricks and joe gibbs. if he wins it will be a short track and he can gamble on a late caution to pull it out. i hope he does so good luck kyle

Kyle Petty is a great MAN, I would love to see him finish his career with one more WIN, and if he never won another race, I will still think he is a GREAT MAN.

Sorry man but no he will never win again and yes this is probably his last season i would say maybe one more or maybe a shortened season next year but he is done. Kyle is known more for his off the track stuff anyways. Too bad Adam was killed because he had a big future.

I would absolute love to see Kyle win just one more race before he retires, that would be awesome. He is a great man, just like his Dad. No one deserves it more than he does!!!!!!!

Its sad that Petty Enterprises has been having to live off of the "King's" name and reputation. They havn't been able to do much in the, what, past 10 years.

I don't think that thay have the program to get even 1 more.

Sorry
