According to Snopes, 40% of undocumented are paid in cash, not in a regular check with deductions. That means 60% of them are paid with a check and have the same deductions

The minutemen site (obviously biased) states that it is 62% that are paid in cash.

So, respectively, 38 - 60% of them are, in fact, paying taxes on their income.

Plus, they pay taxes when they buy a home, a car. They pay taxes when they purchase anything from a store. Sales tax is paid. They pay property taxes if they own a home. They pay tolls on our roads, they buy gas from our stations, they pay for entrance into ball games, six flags, water parks, etc. They pay for dinner out, for party supplies, food, groceries, and clothing. They pay for electricity and gas, water and sewer.

While 38-60% is a fairly low number, it means that about half of them DO PAY TAXES. And, by both sites agreement, those that don't are nearly always migrant workers, and, are only in the country for a couple months

Society is charging maintenence charges on the super buil up area defined by the builder even though falts/duplex/pent houses with different carpet area exist. These Christians seem so sure of their own religion they completely ignore any logic or common sense! They simply stick their fingers in their ears and sing, "La La La, I can't hear you!"

Now the hilarious part, just look at how many Christian sects there are! If you're so sure of your religion, how is it that you Christians so desperately separate among yourselves? There are Catholics, protestants, ortodox and etc. I sincerely think you Christians should settle among yourselves before you tackle other's beliefs! You are embarrassing yourselves!

I have an envoy the started acting up. First I left it alone for 5 min and had to jump it off. Without nothing happening before. Then the lights started flickering on the way home and anything electronic would act weird: Lights turning off and on windshield wipers going off and other wierd stuff. As soon as I turned it off it would not start again unless i jump it off. I think it is my alternator and probably now a bad battery but I want some additional advice.

something might have happened to me when I was little. I am 13 years old. Let me start from the beginning:

A few years ago, maybe 3 years, my mom (don't know about my dad, don't remember) and my oldest bro were acting very worried because they had found blood in my 4 year old sister's panties. (I didn't know at the time that it could have been from a rape, so i didn't even think about it back then.)

I was thinking about it today, and I realized all of a sudden why they were so worried. Then I remembered that some lady (i think from child protective services) had come to our house and had asked me if I had ever been touched in a way that made me uncomfortable.

I said no, because I hadn't, but what if I HAD and just couldn't remember cuz it happened to me when I was so young? And another thing is, I noticed that ever since that day, my dad never bathed my sister anymore, and I had to do it instead. Do you think that they suspected him or raping her or something?

this is not something that i can talk to my parents about because we are not close at ALL. what should i do? i think that if i got raped, i should know, shouldn't i? but wat if they are afraid to tell me? and wat if they never tell my sis?

With so many detailed, picky, strict rules, how do you possibly expect to obey them all? Aren’t having so many rules a sign of mistrust in you from the church?

I was tryin to think of a witty avatar name and i kept hitting a wall. In the midst of my frustration, i flipped a coin that happened to be in my pocket. I looked down at the coin and i read the words "e pluribus unum". Although i didnt know wat it meant, i still thought it was the coolest ***** name ever!
