Our differences are menial if you are talking of the true church. You have Catholics in there they have idol worship just to name one thing true Bible believing churches dont condone. We disagree due to different interpretations. Some believe in the Rapture some dont. Some believe a new Heaven and new Earth. Those small differences do not matter when it comes down to a relationship with Christ. That is all that matters. I want you just to think about this for a moment or more. One day you are going to die. Its gonna happen. Think back to a time when you were seriously ill or injured. If you dont choose Jesus you are choosing Hell. That illness or injury will be nothing compared to Hell. And it will be so much worse forever and ever. You have nothing to lose my friend and everything to gain. I was once in your shoes. This God thing is ridiculous. No way whatever. When God wants you He gets you. Im so glad He called me and chose me to have a relationship with Him. Now I ask you call on Him to do the same. Best decision of your life. This is to all who dont have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Repent and be baptized. Peace out................

I am hoping by my response to let you know the error of your question and that you'd respond by treating others with dignity -- as I have treated you. Surely you wouldn't embarrass yourself and all atheists out there, would you? By responding with anger and spite? On that note, I humbly present my case.
Of all the religious and secular ways of living our lives, Christianity is the only one open to discussion, debate, and reconciliation. Most other religions that we can talk about would not even allow such discussions.
Why don't we take a quick look at Buddhism or the Muslim faith. There are distinct, completely, disjointed sects within the edicts those religions, too! The differences in other religions, when they exist, are irreconcilable.
Within Christianity however, each sect emphasizes on a different aspect of the faith, and as such lives out their convictions and beliefs in the best manner possible. At the core, however, is the belief in the Christ of the Bible -- to keep this response short, pretty much a confession of the Nicene Creed by each sect should be it.
The differences in the various sects of Christianity is not a sign of our differences, on the contrary, it is a sign that we have actually agreed that we do disagree on some aspects of our belief while strongly holding on and subscribing to the basic tenets of the faith.
To give you an example from the secular. There are many out there who believe that the best way to end world hunger, for example, is to donate to various charities. On the other hand, there are others who strongly believe that personal involvement is the only way. You see, we have all agreed that we need to end world hunger, just our approach to the problem and our personal convictions on the issue shouldn't be seen as divisive.
Even Atheism, which you subscribe to, is not consistent. Let me ask you this. Do you believe in Gnosticism or Agnosticism? Or, do you consider yourself to be an atheist or a nontheist? Do you subscribe to Kant's atheism or to Richard Dawkin's atheism? I have an even more interesting question, are you a Buddhist, then? Since, buddhism does not have the concept of God. Even a type of Hinduism subscribes to Atheism. I hope I have made my point.
We are not embarrasing ourselves in anyway. Sure, we are human beings, like everyone else, including you -- and we have our shortcomings. Our differences are a sign that we are ready to rethink our faith and our beliefs and to live it out as best as we see fit, with a sense of awe toward God and responsibility toward our fellow human beings.
The key is, what if Christ is the true God and He is who He claimed to be, then what?

Your argument in reverse explains athiests. Try to explain religion to them and they are like "La La La, I can't hear you!" (to steal your line)
Christians all believe in the same thing. There are different sects, because some people feel that there are different ways to show your belief. Some are hard lined, and some are a lot more loose in their ways. Even though athiests only attack the hardliners refusing to belive that there can be christians that don't want to convert everyone to there religion, but are happy to let people make there own decisions. (Funny how your strongest argument against us, is exactly the same stance you take against us.)
Another thing athiests (especially the ones on here) tend to ignore, is that although religions around the world all preach different origins and methods of worship, they all believe in the same fundamental concept. There is a God (or Allah or whatever else you want to call him) who created us and whose intention is for us to treat others in a respectful manner. Not a hard concept at all. But again, athiests find it necessary to take the extremist and radical views and make their judgements and attacks based on this instead of having any understanding of what they are actually yelling about.

Appealing to common sense is no argument, son. It is unverifiable, impossible to agree upon - and often wrong. The Duke lacrosse case comes most immediately to mind.
But you're right, Christians do disagree with one another in many areas of doctrine. Is it because we (and I use "we" because I am one of the Christians you reference here) are so sure of our own religion, so confident that our faith is the one true faith?
On the contrary. Paul instructed his first-century readers to "work out your salvation with fear and trembling" - a clear command to NOT fall into the easy sin of pride when it comes to matters of faith. My personal faith is dynamic, changing, forged by the fire of questioning and doubt and reflection and the wisdom of the centuries. And while some are more dogmatic and claim to possess the whole of truth, they are not the mouthpiece of all Christendom and do not speak for all.
However, just because there are fundamental disagreements among the Christian sects is no reason to shrink away from the world. Should science shut its collective mouths until a consensus has emerged in the professional literature about all the details of evolution? Heavens no - despite the internecine wrangling, there is an important truth - the fact of evolution - that ought to be proclaimed to the world.
So it is with the Christian faith. While there are many points of doctrine to debate and discusss, all Christians profess the essential mysteries of the faith: "Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again." Just as with evolution, this is a truth that ought to be proclaimed from the rooftops to a searching world .

You're an atheist? What a surprise.
I'm a Christian, and--frankly--I have no desire to change your views or ignore them or deal with them beyond simply saying I disagree with a great deal of what you are saying. But if I am right and you are wrong we will be spending our eternity in very different places.
You are correct in noting that there are many Christian sects. Many of them go well beyond what the Bible teaches, and my Christian faith is based strictly on the Bible and how it is interpreted.
However I will defend another Christian's rights to disagree with my beliefs as surely as I will defend your right to disagree with them. You can choose to believe or disbelieve as your conscience and intellect guide you.
But realize that taunting Christians does not advance you or your beliefs. Christians have suffered far worse than your jibes and have prospered and grown. In fact, that might be a good reason to encourage you to be critical of Christians.
We are blessed when we are persecuted and reviled--that's how we know we are faithfully practicing what we believe.

Within any religion there will be disagreements. So many different sects of Christianity clearly shows this. I'm sure that your beliefs are somewhat different from another Atheist's beliefs, simply because of human nature.
If we were not able to form our own thoughts and opinions, we would be lacking one of the key elements that makes us human, no?

We are united on the belief of a virgin birth, the life, death, and resurrection of Christ...it's the little things we dissagree on...
by the way since this isn't a question are you going to put your fingers in your ear and say "La LA LA, I can't hear you!" when I tell you that you're reported?

I think it's funny how you just said labeling and separating things is hilariously dumb. Then you immediately separate and label yourself atheist. Atheists, agnostics, pyrrhonism, skeptics and fence sitters... You've got some division in your ranks too. Sects are simply about how we worship the same God. Some dance and sing and others pray quietly. It's about personal choice of how to do what you want to do.
PS- Don't stereotype people, it shows how incredibly ignorant and hateful you are.
