Im a guy and I want to Au Pair abroad after college 09 or 10.

Part 1:
I have heard mixed answers most places say yes, but Im curious as to if guys can aupair?

Part 2:
Does anyone have any companies they suggest or places they think would be cool? I was thinking probably Paris, France.

If you are dining at a restaraunt, how do you feel you should be treated from the time the server reaches your table? What annoys you the most about the service experience? What makes you feel like you got treated like a king/queen from the experience? This is kind of a tip board for a friend of mine who would like to become a part time waitress at a famous steakhouse. My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer has a small screen inside that shows how many miles I can go until the gas tank is empty. Currently, the car is on 'E' but it still shows that I have 18 miles until empty. I need to leave my house, but I'm afraid I'll run out of gas seeing as how the nearest open gas station is 8 miles away. Would it be okay to drive now, and will I make it?

I am an atheist. Even if I wanted to believe I could not - have tried in the past but it always seemed fake.

Most of the time I am happy with my atheism, but sometimes I have days when things are getting to me when I wonder if it would be easier if I could believe in something.

It would be easier if I could just believe that 'things are happening for a reason'; maybe let go of some of the responsibility I feel for every action & thought.

As I say it is not as if I can (or really would want to) suddenly become a believer but it is interesting to me to see my mind thinking these things - it makes me understand why people who have 'faith' in something do not want to give it up & why they may not like atheists & logical argument against religion.

It also makes me see how the mind might be biologically inclined towards belief to retain a certain amount of sanity in extreme stiuations

Do any other atheists ever feel this way? Or does it never cross your mind?

What has any increase in federal tax dollars cured?? (meaning the social ills you champion). All the canidates are either suggesting new taxes or repealing the tax cuts of Bush (i.e. raising taxes). How will the new money help when the money all ready being siphoned out of my wallet and redistributed has done nothing to cure the problem?
