She died 6 months ago, so most of the emotion is gone. I am next in line, if something ever happend to my dad the money is then mine.

That is one of the most disgusting, despicable, self-centered questions I've seen here for a long time.

Your grandmother's final wishes were for your father to inherit her estate. What right do you have trying to alter that?

It's your dad's asset now. You want some of it? Ask him for it.

No, your grandmother can leave her estate to anyone she wants. If you want part of this, you should be nice to your dad so maybe he will leave some to you. Hopefully he will see through this though and specifically leave you $10. If he does this, you won't be able to contest his will either.

Looks like Grandma knew what kind of person you are and made no provision for you.

edit:
If something happens to your dad, there is no guarantee that the money will go to you. He can leave it to anyone he chooses. If he intentionally writes you out of his will, you get zip.

You seem a little anxious to get your hands on this money. Your father should watch his back.

no, not really. Direct lineage is a pretty standard way of inheriting. And with a legal will to reinforce her wishes, you don't have much say in the matter.

Besides, what right or claim do you have to this money? Oh right, it's because you're greedy and it's a lot of money. Your dad lost his mother, and all you care about is getting a piece of the estate.

Don't think so. Outlive your dad and hope he hasn't spent all the money, then you'd have something to contest if you aren't "mentioned". Check with an attorney or do a little web search on inheritance rules for your state.

Get a job and get a life maybe and stop leeching off of dead ppl if she wanted you to have something it would have been requested in the will . Money hungry people make me sick to the stomach. My father passed away and i got the family bible i want no money and i am pleased my fathers morals were passed onto me in the fact life is what you make it no thow others make it for you.

I don't think you can contest that. I am assuming that your grandma was your father's mother? Your grandma gave it to your father and it has nothing to do with you. The only way for you to get the estate is if your father gives it to you.

Another great example of the "ME" generation. What's in it for ME? How can I get some of something I'm not entitled to?

The good news is that there is NOTHING you can do to get your greedy little hands on that money.
