Only the Christian (specifically Catholic) faith spans creation to the end of time, and accurately predicted in writing things that would be accomplished thousands of years into the future.
Only the Christian faith is based on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a wholly (and holy) unique and authentic historical person, who really did change the world ... not by force of arms ... but by sacrificial love and irresistible, divine grace ... exactly as was prophesied.
All of this has been recorded clearly and definitively by the Catholic Church, for the last 2000 years ... in a tradition of unparalleled theological and historical scholarship, which has produced a huge body of authentic documentation, (which includes all the holy scriptures) and which is freely available to anyone who cares to do the research.
And in spite of the human flaws and corruption both within and without the church, it has somehow managed to remain in existence continuously and uninterrupted, proclaiming only God's truth, while other earthly kingdoms continue to rise, fall, and often entirely disappear.
It was Jesus, the son of God, who established his church and who promised to bless it and keep it until the end of time ... without exception or reservation.
And the continued existence of his church can only be explained by the power and might of God ... the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I challenge anyone to prove otherwise.

Hi NH Baritone: Religious experiences are incredibly personal. That is why I believe many of us have disagreements, they are all very meaningful to the person who experienced them, but they may not resemble other people's perceptions. Some others base all of their believes in bibles or their sacred books. They seem to take everything they say literally, without interpreting or even reasoning the veracity of such claims. They then defend those ideas with all their might. That is some kind of fanatism I do not even argue with.
I find it nonsense to discuss religion when I have my own personal experience that may be unique. All I can do is share and see how others think like I do, or disagree and think differently. Then I take all those new ideas and meditate about them... then see for myself whether they bring something new into my knowledge.

People tend to desire feeling secure, especially about their immortal soul, and as such tend to adamantly reject change and any differing opinions. and to protect their feeling of security they will often blindly defend their religious view point! I feel that If you are secure in your belief then you should have no problems hearing differing views and being open to their possibilities. I myself believe that their is no wrong way only different ways!

I have a few certainties, though I'm not evangelical about them.
As for the beliefs of others, I don't have much concern about them. As a rule I'm not impressed by the way human beings form opinions and beliefs.

>>>a million) Why do you in addition to might say he's all-powerful, while such distinctive issues he created are grossly imperfect? And it took him billions of years?>>> maximum, if not all, of what's "imperfect" in our international is our fault, not God's. besides, while Don Larsen pitched a "suited pastime" interior the 1956 international sequence, it did not recommend that each and every single pitch he threw replaced into suited -- not each and every pitch replaced right into a strike. even though it replaced into nonetheless a "suited pastime." >>>2) Or that he's infinitely style, while nature is according to cruelty?>>> The cruelty in this international is our fault, not His. >>>And he has oftentimes destroyed indiscriminately, people who displeased him and their harmless little ones too? >>> He has by no potential destroyed absolutely everyone indiscriminately. the place interior the Bible does it say that God engaged in indiscriminate killing or destruction? It does not say that everywhere. >>>3) Or that he's all merciful, while he in simple terms solutions a minute share of prayers?>>> God solutions all prayers -- it is in simple terms that He would possibly not answer all of them to our liking, through fact our liking would possibly not honestly be what's terrific for us. case in point, if a baby asks for cake for breakfast, he/she ought to think of the parent is being recommend while the parent says no. however the parent is in actuality being loving -- through fact the parent is familiar with that cake for breakfast is irrelevant and undesirable, despite if the baby does not understand this. >>>4) Or that each and every thing reported interior the Bible, Koran etc, is real and strong, while some are patently vile and harsh,>>> What teachings interior the Bible are merciless? some merciless issues are defined interior the Bible, yet that doesn't recommend the Bible is asserting those issues are ok. immediately, the linked Press reported on a guy who raped his daughters. Does that recommend the AP thinks raping daughters is nice? No -- it is in simple terms reporting what got here approximately, not giving approval to it. Such is the case with the Bible too. >>>5) Why do you have self assurance first and clarify the info afterwards, >>> we don't. we are given the info that pertain to our faith, and we the two have self assurance them, or we don't. .

The ancient wisdoms are remembered not learned. We already know them, most people just can't remember them.
When people are exposed to things that they are not ready for, it rings truth to them that they don't understand so they reject it, sometimes with intense passion! ; )
