I have an envoy the started acting up. First I left it alone for 5 min and had to jump it off. Without nothing happening before. Then the lights started flickering on the way home and anything electronic would act weird: Lights turning off and on windshield wipers going off and other wierd stuff. As soon as I turned it off it would not start again unless i jump it off. I think it is my alternator and probably now a bad battery but I want some additional advice.

I also think it is your alternator. Your battery may be OK once it gets charged up again.

you should get the wires looked at because my 2004 chevy corvette hat the same problem at they told me the wires needed to be replaced.

If it's got the original batt in it, replace it first, get an interstate batt.
