Do women find guys giving them a flower lame? If hes a good looking stranger whos across the room from you and comes over to give you a flower, is that stupid? At my work there are always girls passing by, I argue with my co-workers about giving a girl passing a flower, they believe the flower idea is stupid and lame. My co-workers claim its old school and it doesnt work anymore, but can a female tell me what she thinks about this?

I have nothing against Britons and in no way am I complaining about their presence. I was at Universal Studios last week and there were "Welcome UK Guests" signs and I saw (and heard) a ton of British people there. Does anyone know why there are so many coming to the USA and to Universal? I dont know anyone including myself who goes overseas for a theme park and when I went to the UK it was for sightseeing (which is not anything close to the resort-like Orlando). Does Universal advertise over there? Why is the UK the only one with a major presence?

They took guns and now reside there against the people's will.Every day they hear shouts of go home but they stay anyway.Some have been busted for bringing drugs into the country.Some have been tried for murder of citizens.Does that make ALL American soldiers bad?Does naming the invasion WAR make it right?Do you stand up against this illegal invasion?I don't hear your cries to deport on this invasion.I wish you would.I want my sons home.Can you answer any of the above questions please?

My roommate and I didn't provide enough notice to end our lease at our apartment complex and now we're roped into another year on the lease! The problem is we both are moving for jobs and school, so now we need to sublease. I put an ad in the paper, online, and put up flyers! What more can I do to get someone to sublease my apartment?!?!

OK, I, know the Liberals already know this, but many people on here, myself included, call the media a “Liberal” organization (except for some, such as FOX News, which is more Conservative in nature). However, Liberals vehemently deny this, saying that the news outlets are completely unbiased.

Well, I caught them in the act. The 60 Minutes reporter last night was trying out some of his Liberal left-wing spin out, and he got caught red handed. He was interviewing a member of the Kurds, a minority group in Iraq. The interview went like this:

--Kurd: Our lives are better now that Saddam is out of power
--Reporter: So, you are thankful for the U.S. INVASION OF IRAQ? (CAPS mine)
--Kurd: It was no invasion! It was Liberation! The U.S. saved our people!

These people were being treated so harshly under Saddam, and they are finally free of his murderous rule, thanks to the US, and this stupid reporter has the tenacity to pull some spin on this guy who may in fact owe his LIFE to the US Liberation of Iraq!

How funny, that a foreigner can identify and correct the spin in our left-wing press, but we cannot!

Ignoring for the fact that my question implies that humans are animals and thus ethically equivalent to other animals, I'm going to claim that it's because God created man to be ethical.

It's not like human ethics are the result of a highly evolved intellectual capacity that allows us to reason about complex issues.

It's also not true that animals like dolphins have been observed to behave in ways we would consider ethical. For example, it's not like this link contains evidence that dolphins behave altruistically.

my ex bf&i wer 2gether for 2 yrs.We broke up about 6 mons. ago,but I cant get over him&move on. Im in college now&have met a really nice guy, who shows an interest in me. I dont know y,but i cant just let myself have fun with him&like him on a dif.level(it has been like this w/2 other guys since the breakup w/ my ex)i think its bc i cannot get over him, but hes HORRIBLE&was so unhealthy4me.i never want2get back w/him, but@the same time i still care about him&dont understand why?he was physically&mentally abusive.he has add OCD&was put on antidepressants right b4 we brokeup(he broke up w/ me saying he was happy on his meds&didnt need me2b happy)it all took a toll on me phychologically&i am still healing.him&his parents knew i kept him as "in line" as he could b when i was w/ him.since the breakup,he has gotten a DUI,gotten involved w/ cocaine, gotten a speeding ticket4going140&gotten kicked out of his house.i ran in2 him not long ago&he seems happy.do u think he'll ever change his ways?

i was wondering how can i choose the right clothes for me. im a 25 yr old med student and i just cnt see myself wearing the same type of clothes since college (cargo pants etc..). i'd like to take out half of my closet and put on new stuff including shoes etc... and where do i shop these things? i still prefer the preppy look though. maybe just a little improvement would do. haha!
