A simple flower is a very sweet attention getter... I would suggest a yellow flower cause yellow represents friendship and a red rose might possibly freak her out from a stanger. A yellow flower will get you a sweet look and you can use the symbolism as a conversation starter if you need to... Good luck!

I remember one day I was in a bar waiting for a friend of mine to show up. Three different men who I never met before all came up to me and gave me a single flower. I thought it was a sweet gesture, but odd that it should come from a stranger. Yes, I did accept and had a lovey time talking with these gentlemen who were only looking to do something nice and find someone to talk to.

If it's a younger female between the ages of 20 to 32 it may come off a little odd. Giving flowers to women my age is generally reserved for special or real significant occasions. Paying her a compliment may go over better. Try it and see.

Do not listen to your Co-workers. They are probably just a bunch of pussys. They probably just want her all for themselves. Either that, or they have no romantic side. A flower is very nice!! Do not over do it!! Be careful of that!! When I was in sixth grade a boy in my Geography class came up to me and gave me a gold necklace and some flowers and he told me he loved me and wanted to be with me. It was very creepy, I have to admit. If he would have just simply given me the necklace and one flower, smiled and walked away, then I would certainly have found it appealing.
Good luck! :)

It really depends on the woman. No one is going to be offended by you giving them a flower and if you're slick about it they're not going to think you're a loser even if the flower doesn't knock her socks off. On the other hand, she might be impressed. So really, I don't think you have anything to lose either way if you want to introduce yourself that way. Old fashioned doesn't always equal bad.

Well if a random stranger came up and gave me a flower, I would be creeped out. But women always enjoy flowers from their S/Os. It would seem stalkerish from a stranger, though.

it's a great idea and not lame at all. I would love to be given a flower out of the blue. Very romantic and sexy.

Honestly, if I got a flower from a stranger, I would definitely be flattered. If I were interested, I would ask him to sit down, or I would start talking to him after that... so yes, I think it would work. But if I wasnt interested, I would probably be like "whats this for?" and then "thank you". Then I would dismiss it. But be flattered either way.

Every woman is different. She will definitely think you're lame if you don't just do it and stop asking people. Women like men with enough self esteem to come up to them without needing a boost of confidence. Either she'll like it or she won't.
