i filled a job application for duane reade online and it wanted my ssn to do a background check (criminal records and such...) so i gave it to them. does anyone think my ssn will be leaked out? i'm scared! what happens if it does, what should i do? :(

I know, everyone thinks their child is a genius. I'm not sure where my son should be developmentally. He is counting to ten (not skipping any numbers and doing so consistently). He also knows about 10 colors. So, is this normal, or ahead?

I'm a junior with a current GPA of 3.34. I haven't taken any business courses yet, yet I am majoring in Management. I have been considering going into Academia. (My GPA level is because in the first two years of my college career my parents health was an issue).

I plan on getting a GPA around 3.57 if I am correct, and taking a few independent study courses. I also work full time at Chili's. I haven't taken the GMAT or the GRE.

What does it take for someone to become a professor of business. I have read that there are openings for this area in academe, yet it seems like I would never have the opportunity.

Should I just find something else, since I attend a small liberal arts school (as opposed to an Ivy league) and my credentials are not perfect?

I work at an Animal Shelter, and a few of the girls keep up with Government stuff.. The US Government actually brought over over 300 German Shephards to Iraq and used them as mine sniffing dogs and bomb dogs.. They put them out on mine fields to see if they'd get blown up..

..As if that wasen't enough... They took the remaining 126 dogs, lined them up, and shot them to death because they didn't want them coming back to America.

I feel so bad about this, my boyfriend is in the Navy and I do try to support him, but with stuff like this behind our backs, I'm just not happy about it..

I teared up when they told me this.. Did anybody else know about it? They hid it well...

I know that obvioulsy, I CAN. BUT will it do damage? The oil I'm wondering about is a used high quality synthetic that came out of my roommate's last oil change. My father passed away when I was nearly ten years old. My mother told me when I was much younger that whenever I would have a dream about my dad, it was sort of his way of reaching out to me. Sometimes, I still have dreams about him and they're the most casual, normal situations I'm involved in but, my dad's there, just as I remembered him being when I last saw him. I am 18 years old and recently broke up with a guy I was dating for almost four years. I am okay about the break it, it was for the better, but it made me realize that I am dependent on other people, particularly guys, to feel happy. I am unhappy without a guy in my life, not necessarily a boyfriend, even just a guy I might be hooking up with. I think this is because I was with this guy and had stability in my life since I was a freshman in high school. I am going to college in the fall. I know that this dependence is a problem. I was working at a small teddy bear store and was let go because the buisness is not making any money, and they are going to get out of their lease. - I was let go 2 weeks ago. When I was working there my boss would NEVER pay me on time and my schedule would always be given to me in the middle of the week. Right now I am owed over 300 dollars and he is giving me the run around. He told me he would have my money last monday- that never happened, then he said wednesday and that never happened. Then today he told me he would have it tonight at closing, I come in and he is not even there!!! I contacted him through text and calls and he is ignoring me. I contacted his father who owns the buisness and he told me that I will be paid tomorrow but i am getting very concerned because i am leaving on monday to New york for two weeks. A friend of mine knows this guy who says that if anything is to kill him, it will be water. He recently had a dream that he was talking to the guy when he suddenly said "I drowned" and disappeared right there. Out of business, he has not talked to the guy in over 3 years and wonders if maybe he did have an incident with water. What do you think?
