was wrong with him? He has done the on again off again relationship with his kids mom for years, but said he knew when he was with her he was not going to marry her. We have only been dating for a few months, but I don't want to waste mt time with someone who will never settle down. I was kinda hoping that his kids mom taught him the do's and the don'ts when it comes to making a relationship work, and now he knows where he wants to be. My gf said if a man is almost 40-years-old, and he has either never been married or he don't have kids, that something is wrong with him. What do you think.

Aren't there trillions of stars, billions of Galaxies..with possibly million/billions of hospitable planets?
If we have so many different forms of life here on Earth, in all kinds of inhospitable environments ..why couldn't there be life, let alone Intelligent life on other planets? Why do we limit the ability of God, by saying....no there is no intelligent life on other planets, no ufos, no interdimensional life forms...no?
Why would God limit Himself to one planet? Couldn't God handle life on millions of planets at the same time?

This is kind of embarrasing but I have bumps on my butt and sometimes get a boil. It used to be from wearing a thong with polyester pants at work but now that I've been working out, I'm getting more of them and even when I wear regular panties I get them and then I get a boil where my panty line rubs. Is there something I can do to help? I'm clean, take showers every day, etc. but what can I do to reduce this? Not only is it embarrasing but they hurt when they're on my panty line.

I'm about to sign up for an extra college class and it's down to German or Japanese. I took some German classes in high school but I'm thinking Japanese would be cool. Is it very difficult for an english/spanish speaking person to learn? Or should I just stick to German?

I need to know now because I'm about to sign up for the class. I appreciate the help.

How can we stop people from confining their dogs to the backyard to be ignored. If there is shelter and food, there is no law being broken, therefore not much we can do!!

I just adopted a 4 year old male Doberman and he might just be the sweetest dog I have ever had. When we got him he was 25 pounds underweight, his nails were very overgrown and he had difficulty walking, he had zero training and had no idea what affection was. We'd go to pet him and he had no idea what it was all about. Now that he is used to it he is very affectionate, and even with little or no socialization he loves every dog, person, child and cat he has met! In two weeks he has learned all his basic obedience commands and is nearly 100% housetrained!
It sickens me that a dog this wonderful spent 4 whole years neglected in someone's backyard and could have spent his whole life there. I am glad they got sick of him and sent him to rescue.
How can we stop this from happening to other dogs?

I have been reading a Michael Crichton book and it got me thinking about the nature of fear.

How many basic fears have pyschologists identified?

My own belief is there are 3 basic human fears that goven all aspects of human nature - fear of physical harm (death, pain and disability); fear of rejection by others; fear of rejection by ourself

So a secondary fear can be anything like fear of snakes, fear of terrorism, of failure, of unpopularity - all these fears related to the underlying primary fear and varying depending on the personality of the individual. You can even have a tertiary fear .e.g. tertiary (fear of growing old) ----> secondary (fear of being unattractive) ----> primary (fear of rejection)

I think politicians, religions and corporations can tap into these fears to control public thinking. Religion seems particularly effective at addressing all three primary fears. e..g 1) Afterlife 2) Spiritual community 3) Spiritual protection

I've had it nearly three years now. I've found my ways of covering it, I'm just sick of being self-conscience any time I want to go swimming or if there's a breeze outside (I'm a scalp puller) but, my mother used to be a cosmotologist. I don't know how to explain this terrible habit without sounding like an absolute nutcase, AND i'm not sure if she'd really even understand. How can I maybe tell her about my problem and ask for her help? :/

What do you do with your life? Very open-ended question. It can be what you do, if you go school, you party/not, you play a sport. Just put down anything you do a lot.
