You'll do fine. I remember my first day of middle school. I thought I'd be lost and not find my classes. But teachers are there to help you and the first week of school is always fun. I met up with a bunch of my friends who felt the same as me. You'll quickly get MS.... Middle School was one of the best times of my life. =]

Since it is unlikely that you were held back two years, it is safe to assume that you are 11. And since you won't let people contact you by email, I am forced to tell you in this answer. Children under 13 are not allowed to have Y/A accounts for protection reasons. They are also not supposed to lie about their age to gain access to these exclusive Yahoo! Products. Yahoo! finds out about these violations and actions will be taken.
To your question: If you can't open your locker, practice before school and don't be afraid to ask for help. Many 6th graders have trouble with their lockers. The mean teacher is probably just your imagination; not to say that there aren't any but that's part of school and it's not like (s)he's going to single you out out of everyone because (s)he doesn't know you. And thirdly, don't be late for class. That's the only solution. Familiarize yourself with the school schedule, wear a watch, and run to class if necessary; it's not like you're gonna get yelled at for running in the halls anymore.

its ok...slow down...i'm doin the same thing...just take a deep breath, and tackle one day at a time...if you cant open your locker bang ur head on it...jkjk...no just ask for help...if your teacher is mean tell the principle that you just dont work well with this teacher, and that for the best learning environment for you and the rest of the class, you should be switched...and if your late for class during the firstday you teacher will probably forgive you because you were trying to find the classroom

okay numero uno..if you cant open your locker its no biggie deal! just go to the nearest teachers classroom, calmy ask if they can help you and im sure they'll be more and happy to! just dont flip out, they hate that.
well if your teacher is mean, you just gotta deal with it, get on their good side right away so your in...theres always gonna be nice and mean teachers. welcome to life. lol
if you're late for class its no big deal either...especially in the begining of the year...teachers in 6th grade dont really care about being late unless you do it every single day...they get more strick once you get older cause they know you didn't even try to get there on time orr you were just goofing around.
just dont be so scared in 6th grade, smile at the older kids, they love that! all the 6th graders were soooo afraid of the older kids when i was in 8th grade...you just gotta relax and have fun!

Just try to remember that everyone in your class is also there for the first time and they have the same fears. The teachers and staff are aware of your fears and will do their best to assist you.
Just be yourself and you'll do fine.
Good luck to you!

Just be your self and stop worrying. The more you worry, the more mistakes you will make. Just roll with it. Team up with a friend , try your locker before school begins, and buy a watch!
