This is kind of embarrasing but I have bumps on my butt and sometimes get a boil. It used to be from wearing a thong with polyester pants at work but now that I've been working out, I'm getting more of them and even when I wear regular panties I get them and then I get a boil where my panty line rubs. Is there something I can do to help? I'm clean, take showers every day, etc. but what can I do to reduce this? Not only is it embarrasing but they hurt when they're on my panty line.

Boils - happen often on the buttocks.

Here are some information from my Prescription for Nutritional Healing-

Poor nutrition, illness, stress, depressed immune function can be factors in the cause of boils.

Essentials:
colloidal silver: applied topically - a natural antibiotic and disinfectant. Destroys bacteria, viruses and fungi. Promotes healing.
Garlic: 1 capsules 3x's daily - a natural antibiotic that potentates immune function

then good multi-vitamins, combined with a cleansing diet to help get the body get rid of the toxins causing the boil. Put tea tree oil on it. They also recommend that you do not put a band aide on it... but they don't say why - so if I guess it is because it needs air to dry.

There is allot more in my book, but I hope this helps.

best of luck,
green terra

Sometimes people can get boils or less severe cysts on their rear ends. It's actually really common.

Try washing more and exfoliating too just to keep the pores clean. These things develop when a bit of dirt or foreign matter gets into a pore and the pore closes on it.

You get more when you work out because the sweating opens the pores. If you can, get into the shower and exfoliate before your skin cools off after the workout.

are you shaving your behind? boils are caused by a germ known as staphylococcal bacteria which enters through tiny nicks or cuts in the skin or can travel down the hair to follicles.also health problems make people susceptible to skin infections examples: poor immune system, diabetes, poor nutrition, poor hygiene.hope this helps you
