Yeah theres plenty if you dont mind wal-mart or some store like that. I bought a phillips surrounds sound system not too long ago from wal-mart for about 215$ and I think its a real good buy. I can play dvds in it, hook up my thumb drive and play music, and it also came with hook ups for mp3 players. But there are also some under 150 but i dont know what kind of quality your going to get?? Heres the one i got

Check out the garage sale, section, on z28.com You may have to create a name to sign in, but there is a guy on there that will sell you his really nice home theatre surround sound for around 100 shipped. I almost bought it myself, but then I bought a new car instead. If you would rather me just give him your email I will. Let me know!

Here is what the ad says:
2 Sony SR305 Satellites(100 watts each), 1 CN305 Center(120 watts), and 1 pair Sanus EFSAT stands. Speakers are charcoal with black grills. Purchased in '02. Like new condition! $110/offer Thanx for l@@king!

All the above answers are bull. I got a 400watt 5.1 Zenith system from the Co-op on clearance for 100 + tax. Mind you it isnt very quality but it play movies fine and I hooked it up to my TV using the auxilary output (only the front right/left speakers and the sub work on auxilary). As for surround sound (5.1 channels) that is impossible if you are on a budget. I would suggest shopping around superchain stores like wal-mart or visit your local pawn shop to find a cheap system.

When it comes to surround sound. You do not use the words
"system" and "100 bucks" in the same sentence. <}:-})
And don't deal with a guy who won't show his face.

if you are prepared to take the risk and buy over the internet (which i never do-too risky-i agree with the poster above-never buy from anyone you can't deal with personally) then ebay is always an option. you could also look in the local paper and see whats for sale. but quite honestly you will not get anything special for $150. (i paid £500 ($800) for my amp alone!!). good hunting.
