what is a clean title verses a bad title? do accidents make you have a bad title? I was in an accident but had everything fixed does this lower the value of my car?

I know this friend who has a gf. They are engaged, marrying in 6 months' time. They sms each other during the day, sometimes have a quick chat on the phone, and apparently have regular and great sex. They are both over 37 years of age.

Recently, his gf (teacher) seemed to be slacking off on the communication, and the intimate conversations. She is totally absorbed in her job and works from 6.30 AM to 4.30 AM. At night, she apparently sits on the computer till around 10 PM. From when she comes home, till she goes to sleep, she spends time on her own stuff. She tells him she is not on chat.

My friend also works a job from 6.30 AM till 7.30 PM. Sometimes he comes home early to spend time with her. Weekends, no office work is allowed and they usually do fun stuff together.

Suddenly, she went off air for 8 hours of the day. No contact, no replies to smses. He smsed her, asked if she's ok? She replied 2 hrs later, saying she's very busy, but ok. 10 hrs, 1 sms.

What do you think?

I gave $250 as a holding deposit to my landlord on the 20th of July, set to move in Aug. 20th. As of yesterday I decided to not move in because of unforseen circumstances. He called me today to let me know that he was keeping the $250 and he might charge me for the additional 10 day @$45 a day. I looked up Holding Deposits in California and it states that landlords can keep some or all of the deposit if they incur additional costs to rent it.

The previous tenant paid through the end of July and so the apartment has only been vacant for 2 days and being that the manager stated he had other tenants lined up, the apartment wasn't going to be ready until the next week (he was installing carpet and paint), the charges he incurs really are not that high.

Am I entitiled to some or all my deposit back and can he charge me for those days he "doesn't have a tenant"?

Also-- and here's where I got stupid-- there's nothing in writing. No receipt, no lease-- everything was verbal.

Why would God poor out His wrath on His own chosen people? Think this is silly? Well it happend in AD 70. Still today the Jews as a whole do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. Do you think they please God today?

I bought it at 1:30 PM IST (8:00 AM GMT) on 21st July, started reading it at 2:30 PM IST and finished it on 4:22AM IST, 22nd July. I have re-read twice more precisely since. ...to wait a couple years to have kids...
I'm happily married, but have been wanting so badly to get pregnant and start a family. But I know that my husband and I aren't in the time or place or financial situation that we'd like to be in before having kids. Somebody remind me of other reasons to just hold off for awhile...(but please be nice about it)

OK....no now there is a system in place that keeps tabs on what cold medicine you buy. Once you buy it, you are placed in a system that monitors how much and when you buy it...

What's next? If they can do this with medicine, what else will they use this technology for?

I guess people really WILL take whatever the government gives them....wonder if they are tracking personal lubricant to see who is getting ready for the next thing the government is going to give us.

I guess people really will let the government do whatever they want in the name of "the war on "

I am in the process of buying a home entertainment system. Do I need to buy a CD player for audio music AND a Blue-Ray Player for movies? Instead of buying two items, I was thinking of buying one Blue-Ray Disc Player which would take care of both my audio and video. Are Blue-ray disc players compatible with high end stereo systems? Would appreciate if you could let me know.
