If you dig up antiquities on private property (that you own) in the United States, who owns them? In Italy, the state does automatically. That seems wholly unfair to landowners. I'm thinking about ownership of ancient Indian artifacts, burial grounds, battlefield artifacts, and fossils. I know the federal government owns that which is found on public lands, which makes sense. I'm talking about private lands.

“You jackass. That's my daughter you're talking about!” the person responds.
“Oops! I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know you we're the father.”

Okay, well heres the thing. I get paid by salary $1200, my check usually comes out for $945, I've had it as "single" and 1 dep. however I've been married for 3 months or so, and I barely remembered about the "single" part, so i asked to change it, so now its married and 1 dep. my check came out for $1000, and my husbands check came out for around $300 more, he too has married and 1 dep. will this affect us, when we have to do our taxes? Since its only us, will we have to pay alot? thank you.

This is a question I've bounced around in my head once in a blue moon. In comics I've seen writers put their take on the question. Now I'm asking this of the history buffs of Y!A. Maybe like me you've thought of it or you've done your own research and found some conclusions. After all, with the factors of the weather and intelligence reports of the day a lot could have gone wrong. Or still go right. What are your thoughts?

I'm considering homeschooling my two young boys. I want to know what you don't like, or didn't anticipate when you began. Please, I only want answers from people who are homeschooled or their teachers, not people who are against homeschooling but who have no experience with it.

I am getting married next year for the second time. My question is, I have 3 dads. (my father, my ex-step dad, and my step-dad now) They all mean so much to me, as they were each there for me. My real father walked me down the isle the first time. And I want him to do it again, but I also want to include the rest of them. How should I do this? Would it be ok, for all of them to walk me down the isle some how?

I really need help, I felt so bad leaving them out last time and don't want to do it again.

We recently moved from US to UK and brought our American car to UK.

There are two main requirements form DVLA to get the car registered 1) SVA Test 2) Insurance in my name

I have figured how to get the SVA test done via VOSA, so 50% problem solved.

What I am struggling with is getting an insurance for the car. I have a American Drivers license (you can drive in UK using American license for upto a year, so am covered there) and my car is not registered. Now my problem is that

a) Most common Insurance companies provide insurance to holders of foreigh licenses, but do not provide insurance without "Registration Number" of the car.

b) Subset of insurance companies that insure cars based on "Chassi Number" do not provide insurance to holders of Foreign licenses.

Do you know of any solution to this dilema? Do you know of a company that would insure foreign license holder based on chassi number of the car? OR Do you see any other solution to my problem?
