How to research an LLC?

I am searching for ways to find out information about an LLC in a different state. I have checked the BBB, etc. but can find no record of them or the parent company. How can I do this?

If you know the state, go to the state's official website and click the BUSINESS link. You should be able to find a phone number or email address there. If you don't know the state's official website (usually www.ST.gov), then go to GOOGLE and search for ...
