Within the last couple hours this has happened... well I am at work (I sit all day) and every time I get up it feels funny, I get like rubbing on my pelvis bones but it doesn't hurt and a whole lot of pressure.. could he be moving lower into the birth canal? Last night even I was getting shooting pressure.. not pains just like pushing as I was lying there and made me have to get up more than often.. could this mean labor is soon??

I sure hope this is a sign because I am more than ready to meet my little bundle of joy!!

I am almost 38 weeks now. This is my second baby, my 1st I was induced and never experienced "going into labor". Thanks a lot for your input!!

My husband has been wanting me to go to see a dr and get my yearly done to check for ovarian cancer our insurance pays 100% of the visit but I just dont feel comfortable w/ drs looking @ me. My first visit was when I was 20 and when I was 22 only b/c I was pregnant If not for that i wouldnt of ever went. And when I had it done both times I was so uncomfortable and was shaking I hated it. What are my chances? Know of anyone who was diagnosed @ 27 years of age?

I am so sick and tired of people telling me I am "fortunate" to "be able" to stay at home and raise my son. It is not out of luck or fortune that I stay at home. It is my priority. Anyone (excluding single parent) can stay at home to raise there children. You may have to cut big corners, or live in a small home or even have to rent an apt., but it can be done.

I heard that what 90% of learning comes from what you see and hear, i also learn that reading in your mind is the most inefficient method of studying.

I test this method out.

For four weeks i read the newspaper 30 minutes and watched cnn news for 30 minutes.

I pick up words from CNN news which became part of my vocabulary.

I couldn't remember the last word i picked up from reading the newspaper silently in my mind, it's like i read the newspaper i hardly remember any facts about what i read but when i think about the news i remember the pictures and audio so i was able to recall the facts much faster.

We are finding ourselves lagging behind the rest of the world. And, our government has us stalled in the sands of Iraq which is sucking our resources and treasury. Has America lost it's edge when it comes to being the forerunners of innovation, problem solving and progress in the world. Are we stuck in the crude fossilized age of the 1950's technologies and mentality because of our overwhelming dependence on corporate American interests and oil interests which are counterproductive to advancing new energy solutions? After officers of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency arrested 165 people at three different offices of the American Staffing Resources company, Mayor Tom Potter denounced the raid. Besides catching illegal aliens, ICE apprehended three of the staffing company's managers, charging them with knowingly hiring illegals and supplying them with false documentation. ASR supplies workers to the Fresh Del Monte fruit and vegetable company. ICE said up to as many as 90 of those arrested had fake or forged Social Security cards. Instead of expressing sympathy with those whose Social Security numbers had been stolen, Mayor Potter issued a statement displaying his anger at law enforcement. "I am angered by this morning's arrest by federal officers of approximately 150 Portland residents who were working at a local produce company... [T]o go after local workers who are here to support their families...is bad policy," he said.

So, I'm using a Windows computer, and I finally decided it was time for a Mac, because everyone I know who has a Mac has no problem with media production. Now, one of the biggest things I'm worried about is latency with MIDI. This, of course, isn't the only reason I'm switching from Windows, but if I get a MacBook Pro, can I expect much lower latency? Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

my sister is 16, her a her bestfriend got into a huge fight, her bestfriend told her she no longer wanted to be friends with her, because she is pregnant(please dont say anything bad about that is was an accident)they were friends for 11 years,so naturally my sister was crushed.she she went on myspace.com, but logged into her friends( the friend gave her the password) she changed the password and wrote some things in there,but everything was true,nothing was made up. so they talked over the computer today, but said sorry, and my sister agreed to give the password to her,my sister took all the bad stuff out of her myspace accont over a week ago. but her friends parents are saying what my sister did is identity theft and slander, and want her friend to take her to court for what happened. but her friend does not want to. my question is, how is that identity theft if her friend gave her the password?and how is it slander if she said nothing false? how long would they have to take

I have a 6 year old daughter. I don't allow her to play with BRAT dolls or watch any of their shows as well. I know they are widely popular but I can't help but notice that they dress allot more skanky than barbie. It turns out she is more into baby dolls than barbie dolls anyway but am I the only mother to feel this way.

I think the dolls represent a false sense of beauty as do Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears and all celebrities..I want to teach her to look up to woman who actually make a differece in the world. EX Margaret Mead, Jane Godall .....

Do you limit you children in anyway as this and why????
