To the list of political elites who don't want immigration laws enforced, add the name of Portland's mayor. After officers of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency arrested 165 people at three different offices of the American Staffing Resources company, Mayor Tom Potter denounced the raid. Besides catching illegal aliens, ICE apprehended three of the staffing company's managers, charging them with knowingly hiring illegals and supplying them with false documentation. ASR supplies workers to the Fresh Del Monte fruit and vegetable company. ICE said up to as many as 90 of those arrested had fake or forged Social Security cards. Instead of expressing sympathy with those whose Social Security numbers had been stolen, Mayor Potter issued a statement displaying his anger at law enforcement. "I am angered by this morning's arrest by federal officers of approximately 150 Portland residents who were working at a local produce company... [T]o go after local workers who are here to support their families...is bad policy," he said.

Illegal aliens, and the companies that hire them.
Regarding the snide remark about native Americans displaced by Europeans: european colonists introduced a superior, more technologically advanced culture to the Americas. Native Americans were welcome to assimilate to that superior culture, and many did.
The "civilization" that pre-dated European migration to the Americas was one of bloody tribal wars, human sacrifice, and even cannibalism.
Not one tribe in the Americas had so much as invented the wheel.
It may not be politically correct to say that a superior culture replaced that of the American Indian, but it is accurate.
In contrast, the illegals entering the United States are bringing an inferior culture, and a decline in incomes and education, as well as a rise in gangs and crime.

It's as simple as that.
If you were to investigate Mayor Potter, his household employees, any anyone who's ever worked for him, I'm quite sure you'd find a handful or more Illegals who have or still are working for him.
It's the same old story, any politician (including presidential candidates Clinton and Obama who supported giving Illegals Amnesty) has hired one or more in their lifetime.
To them, it's good business when in fact, it's making American CITIZENSHIP a meaningless experience. WHY learn English or pay taxes when you can live here for free, speak your native language and work under the table??

The Republicans - they need the cheap illegal labor for businesses.
The illegal supporters - they want to elect all Hispanic and Latino people into office so they can rule and run America.
Businesses and Employers who hire them - This helps them make a greater profit, and bring down American wages.

Who cares what the liberal SOB has to say? He is just showing that he is a traitor to his country and a total idiot to boot. Which laws does Mayor Potter not get angry with if they are enforced? Maybe he should make a list. I like it when these laws are enforced but I get angry if these laws are enforced. Total twit.
