Within the last couple hours this has happened... well I am at work (I sit all day) and every time I get up it feels funny, I get like rubbing on my pelvis bones but it doesn't hurt and a whole lot of pressure.. could he be moving lower into the birth canal? Last night even I was getting shooting pressure.. not pains just like pushing as I was lying there and made me have to get up more than often.. could this mean labor is soon??

I sure hope this is a sign because I am more than ready to meet my little bundle of joy!!

I am almost 38 weeks now. This is my second baby, my 1st I was induced and never experienced "going into labor". Thanks a lot for your input!!

Sounds like his position has changed, thats all.

My son literally LEPT into my pelvis one night when I was 30 weeks. It made the bed jump. I had that same sensation for the rest of my pregnancy, like you're describing.

When I went into labour with my 3rd child I had all that pain you are descibing but what was scary for me was I wasn't due for 3 weeks. Sure enough 4 hours later she was born. Everyone is different. Every pregnancy is different. Kepp track of it then you will know if still not sure call your doctor and see what he says. Good luck!

It could be him moving down. It also sounds like descriptions of sciatia I have read. Maybe he has moved down and settled on your sciatic nerve. If thats the case, I guess just be glad that its near the end. Some women get sciatia because their baby is sitting on their sciatic nerve months before they're due.
Good luck and congrats!

the baby is moving on down or dropping. You will know you are in labor because it hurts like hell, or your water will break. You may have a slimey and or bloody discharge right before labor, that is your mucous plug
