You need to disasble the DHCP server in the second router, that will dumb the router down to a switch ,and will work fine.

If it's a linksys, the IP is 192.168.1.1. Password is Admin.
If it's anything else, just google "nameofroutermanuf IP" and it should find it.

I do not have it in front of me, but I believe it's under the setup ,or system tab at the top, just put a dot in Disable DHCP.

It is possible but there is no compelling reason to do it.

A single router, even the lightweight home devices can feed 254 LAN devices. How many LAN devices do you want to feed? If you exceed this value, you will need a faster internet connection and more powerful router.

If your current router has 4 LAN ports as many do, you can purchase a network switch, run a cat5 straight cable from a LAN port of the router to a network switch port (some require you to use an uplink port, others do not) and plug other LAN devices in the network switch.

If you current router is wired only router, you need to run cat5 network cable. An alternate is to purchase and install a wireless access point and this is likely to eliminate the need to run cable provided you don't have interference with wireless signal.

Yes, just connect another ethernet cable to an open port on the first routher, then connect the other end to the upload port on the second router and you should be good.
