I was watching the reactions of the verdict on youtube and the one thing that jumped out to me was the different reactions. White people were shocked and outraged while Blacks were celebrating as of they just received reperations for slavery...Why such a difference in the reaction? I am writing a paper on diversity in public service (paramedicine, policing, fire) and military service. I am including a survey of whether you feel gays and lesbians should openly serve in our public safety sector and our military? And if you are a military professional or public safety professional, do you feel that it would undermine the oath you take to serve next to a gay or lesbian service member?

Second Question:
Do you feel affirmative action is necessary in public safety careers? It has been proven to make a more racially and ethnically diverse sector, how do you feel.

This is an update on a question I posed several weeks ago when UPS said they would not extend health benefits to gays that joined under NJ civil union laws.

It is a neon tetra. It kept getting stuck to my filter so I moved it to a different tank. It is very skinny, but doen't seem to have a loss of apitite. It doesen't have clamped fins or rapid breathing, It has been swimming very slowly near the bottom of the tank and every once and a while not moving at all. It devloped this condition this morning, It is NOT a new fish. my water is not cloudy or dirty.

lets say that a chirstian woman gave birth to a baby with extreme deformities. after being alive for a few days, the baby dies, unbaptized. where would this baby go- heaven or hell??
i am sure that God, being a loving God, would not condemn the innocent child to hell (it isnt the baby's fault adam sinned)
but anyway, what is your take on this?
