Well I'd love to see those cupcakes. Maybe I will make a batch of them next time I go home for a visit. A lady I know said a friend of hers from Texarkana died this week. She said it was after a long illness and that they are actually glad the suffering is over. Well, as soon as she said Texarkana I thought of you and instantly wanted to let you know I am thinking about you. Just so you know, I love rainbow trout too and I caught a lot of them over the years...and ate them!

try what i like to call the "combo" one wax worm and two maggots on a size 10 hook. let it hit the bottom, and get ready.
there are 10 baits i always have in my vest. maggots, wax worms, meal worms, minnows, night crawlers, red worms, pink white and cheese salmon eggs, and rooster tails, (assorted colors). you cant go wrong with any of these, and the above listed are the most reliable. when people say that corn, bread, and other things that people say that they always have great success on are people that don't take fishing as seriously as i do. they fish in a local stream, and only a local stream. they walk back and forth between their truck and the stream every 2 hours.
me, i leave at seven in the morning and don't come back until about six-seven o clock at night. i have paid over $400 on all my gear, and i am very focused.
there aren't any smells that you can put on yourself to attract fish.

Take a number ten hook and put it in the very end of the crawler, then tie a small piece of red yarn to the shank and trim it.
Then let it drift down stream, if a trout doesn't hit this, there ain't no trout there.

WD-40 has a fish oil base. i have seen it used with amazing success by just spraying it on a lure or bait. through the ice or in the warm months.
