Should civil liberties and rights be overridden when national security is perceived to be at risk even when this is just suspicion (if thats how u spell it) and there is no real concrete evidence?

i have white heads and pimples but i use aveno and dove and other soft skin products but they make it wurst,i'm also afraid to ask my mom if i can try proactiv what should i do or what should i do,i am mixed my dad's black and my mom's white

I think it would be therapeutic for atheists to finally admit what scares them so much about the bible. I'll start.

When I was fourteen years old I was beaten and mugged by a group of drunken Bibles (you read that right). These Bibles beat me relentlessly until I could no longer perform simple logical operations. It took three years of therapy before I finally started to believe in evolution again. Whenever I walk through a dark alley, I still worry that a copy of the New Testament will jump out of the shadows and attack me.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I was wondering why some other atheists are afraid of the bible.

Yeah, dumb question, I know... Which is precisely why I do NOT want to ask my husband. Do they just want to hear E-4... Which is his rank, right? What is his rate? I really don't know, I am confused... I'm tired of sounding stupid.... eep! lol... somebody help me out please. Thanks.

One night Smila brought home a dozen red roses to his wife.
"How lovely, dear," she said, "what's the occasion?"
"I want to make love to you," he said simply.

The next day Smila came home with a big box of chocolates and explained that he wanted to make love to her.

I sent this guy I know a myspace message asking him if he wanted to get together sometime,he replied right away with yes, and then asked what salon I work at,he said he was 'just being nosey'. I replied with'why?, do you need a haircut?' and he received the message and has not replied. its been two days, why no reply? what could be going through his head?

My sister signed up for a debt management plan and she received her bill from one of her creditors telling her that she owes them late charges and fees because the payment was made late by the debt management plan company. Will she be sent to the bill collector if she don't pay the late charges or should she just pay the late charges anyway?

Im currently renting, and the owner sucks! He had to hire a new property management team, because the last one they terminated him because of breech of contract(basically for not fixing up things). So...............i just found out that the old contract (lease) has been transferred over but was brought out, meaning the lease is no good.


When new management took over, they said i may have to sign a new lease, but have not did it yet, im trying to move due to a drug house going on right next door to me, im in the process trying to get that handle, anyway.............i was told since the contract was brought out the lease is no good and therefore im not under a contract, IS THIS TRUE, AND SHOULD THE MANAGEMENT LET ME MOVE? AND IF THIS IS TRUE, WHAT CAN I DO IF HE TRIES TO MAKE UP SOMETHING THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE????Please respond with serious and honest responses.

my Vet is closed and my 13lb. (healthy) shih-tzu has started scratching and biting himself bad. I live in FL and it just rained. Each time he goes out (bathroom) he really starts all over again itching. All I have is Tylenol PM, which is Benedryl (which I know he can have) but don't know about Tylenol. Please help if possible? Thanks. Of course I'll call the VET in the AM but I feel badly for the little guy.

My ex fiance is now coming to my town every day. I broke things off due to the fact that we argued and he threw me into a fence and tried to throw me down. I have been the victim of assault years ago and couldn't get the look he had on his face at the time to go away. I simply can't forgive him.
He used to say that we had a long distance relationship-the reason he would hardly come to see me- I had to go to his town, which is only 12 miles away.
Now, he shows up here every other day and shows up at any place I go with my friends. He calls them and trys to find out what they are doing, though he avoids actually asking if I will be there.
The day after I took the ring back and told the store to call him to let him know I returned it to them (I didn't want to see him face to face) so that he wouldn't have to pay for it, he left me a voice mail on my cell phone that actually admitted what he had done. I have him saying: 'I wanted to beat your a#**, you need your a@#** beat!" help

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been feeling fetal movements since 14 weeks. Sometimes they are strong enough to feel on the outside, but you can't really see a difference from movement and non-movement.

When were you able to see the baby poke at your abdomen and were you able to tell what the body part was that was causing the movement?

I have a good friend who is male. I wanted,on my end to be more than friends. As time went on, it just never came to that point. But it's fine because we are the best of friends. Anyways I hadn't seen my friend for quite a long time and we just drifted our own ways. This was fine too because this happens in friendships.
A year later, this friend comes by my job to say hello to me and to just talk a bit. Then again we part company.
I later run into another friend and tell this friend that so and so stopped by to see me. This person whips around and says "Oh! you know, he's gay! I saw him holding hands with another guy!"
My first reaction was that I was stunned, than I recovered and said to that person that no matter what, I will always be the other person's friend!
The person in question never told me that he was gay all the time that I knew him. Should I confront him with what I know or just let things be because he is still my friend regardless!
