I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been feeling fetal movements since 14 weeks. Sometimes they are strong enough to feel on the outside, but you can't really see a difference from movement and non-movement.

When were you able to see the baby poke at your abdomen and were you able to tell what the body part was that was causing the movement?

Actually, I'm also 27 weeks (due Oct. 28), and I can see my stomach move sometimes when baby kicks. My first pregnancy, I could distinguish sometimes when he stuck an elbow or foot out, but not until much later, I'd say starting somewhere between 34 and 36 weeks. But each baby is different. Don't worry, it'll come. Congratulations and God Bless!

Your OBGYN can decide approximately how some distance alongside you're with the help of doing a ultrasound and measuring the newborn. As for feeling fetal strikes it relies upon on the guy, some women persons can sense them as early as sixteen-18 weeks as for different women persons it may take longer till approximately 20-23 weeks. I remember feeling the kicks from the exterior around my 20-twenty first week. during the quicker weeks you wont have the potential to sense the flow while putting your hand on your abdomen yet some say they are able to sense a fluttering feeling, it particularly is named "quickening", as your infant develops and his/her muscular tissues gets more advantageous, so will the kicks and punches.

I could see the baby on the outside at 22 weeks. I am petite though and pretty thin, and my doctor said that I didnt have a lot of fat on my abdomen and thats why I could see it so early. This time around it may take longer, since I have a little roll from my first pregnancy,

I could "see" fetal movement at 20 weeks and I could tell what body part it was at about thirty.

I could see it around 25 weeks. A little earlier than that, my husband was able to see it. Since the baby was lower in my abdomen, it was out of my range of vision.

Once the uterus went higher, I could see it.

No, I didn't see any body parts but when I was pregnant with my twins it would feel like they were doing the wave! It was so funny.
