I am 16 (almost 17) and received my license a few months ago. I have been driving my brother's old Buic Century, but my dad is currently looking for a car for me. My dad is convinced on the quality of the car (he is very knowledgeable with cars), but as far as I am concerned, is it a stylish car for me to drive? Is it a car I would ultimately be happy with?

we like each other but then she had issues with being single (her ex), then (im not aggressive) however i became more assertive, then good signals, then mixed signals. i wasnt sure if she was ready or not. then i had my own problems (work college home etc). i didnt have enoungh time to focus on us. so when i got the chance to discuss she said im dating and were friends ur not for me. i became a little attached and got hurt. i can c us together (we are so much alike 85%) since shes Affectionate with her friends and me , how can i not go out with her and not kiss her for the first time to show i am the one, or even go out? mayb it was bad timing. i dont wanna show her im hurt or act like something is going to happen and its not. there is so much potential between us.

When there's a solar halo (a "glory" around the sun, or sunbow), I notice that the region between the ring and the sun looks darker than the rest of the sky. Even though it's closest to the sun!

When there's a double rainbow, I notice that the region between the two bows looks darker than the rest of the sky.

Can anyone explain the optics of this? What's going on...

First of all, i play football, it is my life, and i'm not being drematic. About 3 months ago, i had noticed a weekness in my knee, but decided it was nothing out of the ordinary for me, so i just went on, planning to go to a doctor. Then a few days later, we were doing agility drills, and hit and rolls. I hit, i rolled i hit i rolled i hit i rolled my knee. This was nothing out of the ordinary either, i have dislocated my knee cap before, and that's what it felt like. This time i went straight to a specialist. He said it could possibly have to do with a miss fire in my quad which means that my quad just wont move because the ligiments ataced to it wont respond. I got an MRI, and it showed no ters, but now they suspect nerve damage. now i can either keep going knowing that it will give out eventualy, or miss the season. It's a well known fact that the only thing the doctors are willing to do in my situation is rehab, but it will never be better, atleast not %100.

Sometimes I smell natural gas near our fireplace logs. I seem to become very drowsy when in this room for an hour or more. I never burn the logs and I can't seem to tighten the shut-off valve anymore. Any suggestions?

Me myself am a vegetarian. I have been for the past 6 months. My mum is vegetarian and so is my sister so it was kinda going to happen sooner or later. I have my opinions on eating meat and I know others do, but I honestly cant understand why we started to eat meat in the first place!

In the Book of Jobe, God punishes people by making them eat meat, So why do christians eat meat? Weren't we put on this world with animals to live in harmony? Call me hippy but if you dont like cruelty to animals, but eat them, aren't you being cruel? Isn't killing an animal and eating it cruel?

I know humans evolved from apes by eating meat, but what if a sheep started eating meat too? Would the sheep eventually evolve into another species of human? Does that mean weere eating fellow humans?

Please give your opinions Im accepting no matter what your eating habits are! ;]

Life came from the ocean - if you believe in that keep reading, if not, this question will not be suitable to you (no offense, it just makes disproving me harder). Life began in the ocean, and then evolved into animals that eventually found their way onto land. Theoretically, we evolved from modern apes, and because we were better suited to survive and were able to eat more protein, our brain grew larger, and we became smarter.

Now - thinking that - wouldn't it be 99% feasible that there would be some kind of intelligent fish men/women in the oceans, which cover 75% of the earth. They wouldn't have been harmed as much as our species on land, because they are so far below in the water - and thus evolution would not have paused for their kind, but kept on going, to something truly magnificent - the highest point of evolution thus far.

For the last 8 yrs my husband has been involved with one or more of these areas. I've made it very clear how I feel. I think it's cheating, he calls it "entertainment".

To me: watching porn, roll playing & acting out fantasies is entertainment.

Five years ago we entered the swinging lifestyle for about a year. It started out fun & ended in disaster. He became emotionally involved with someone. I was crushed. Their emotional tie just about killed me. We met them five years ago and their relationship ended last month. As far is he says, they weren't physically involved outside of our two trists.

Today he left his email open and yes, I found several different hook-up sites. I read emails. I feel deceived. He says he's a freak and that it's just entertainment. I say he's cheating. He hides it, he sneaks and he lies about it. If it's not cheating, then why lie?

Is it worth ending a marriage, 4 kids later? Can we find common ground? If it had ever stopped I may have trusted him.
