Follow the link "Apply for a Job." down at the bottom of the left-hand column..

When I was interested, one needed a degree in law or a degree in accounting to be considered for an agent. Don't know if that's still required.

Like yeah totally.

The X Files is real.

The other 8 agents in the room all nodded yes, so it must be true
edit:
Gugliamo, You are right. A degree is the key. They have added computer geek to the list. The Agent running WCCS in LA years ago told me the fraud case I got involved with opened DC eyes to the Internet and other electronic crimes, this was late in 96. The $15 million the banks lost on that gig got the Secret Service off their butts too. It was their case and had to give it to the FBI because they did not have a specialized spook group for video, audio and GPS tracking.

I don't think so. I'm sure when you're part of the FBI, you take care of frauds and missing persons cases. The FBI also try to arrest cyber weirdos (like the ones that try to get to little kids). I'm sure they also have something to do with preventing terrorism, but I think that's all.

The FBI has a nice website to answer your questions. They offer many opportunities in many areas of law enforcement.
