A few minutes ago, I opened the door to walk my dog and as soon as I opened it, a bird flew at us! I slammed the door shut because I did not want an angry mocking bird stuck in my house! It turns out though that it was just a baby! The mockingbirds have been attacking us lately because I have a dog and they see her as a threat, so I assumed it was another bird trying to fly at us as soon as I walked out of the apartment. (which happens a lot lately.) As me, my dog, and my bf walked back to the door, we saw this baby bird sitting there! I don't know if he was hurt or just shaken up, or if he'll make it or not! My bf said we shouldn't touch it or the mother wouldn't take it back, but it's not like we could put it back in the nest, and we had to pick it up to move it, so we just set it by their tree. If it is still alive and out there, (unless a cat got it or it flew off and is ok) should I try to bring it in and take care of it or does it have a better chance if I just leave it be?

If other people can help you by praying for you, can they harm you by doing the opposite - wishing ill on you? If so, how can you protect yourself?

I live in a small town in a mobile home park in Georgia. We have drug dealers who live here and no one seems to care. The drug dealers live very close to me. What can I do to get them out of here. The one drug dealer lives with his girlfriend and she is pregnant and she also has a 14 year old daughter who lives with them. My husband and I are wanting these people gone. My husband went to the police to let them know what was going on and they just did not care. Who do I have to call to turn them in? What do others do when they have drug dealers in their neighboorhood? I am just sick and tired of it. The mobile home park that we live in has really went down since these drug dealers are living here. Drugs are everywhere and I am tired of it. Does anyone care?

I have a 1996 Ford explorer with 145k miles on it. When I reach about 60 mph the truck kind of shook and started riding rough, but then it was ok when i got to 70mph. The check gage light came on. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem would be?

Do you know how Jesus said in the last days you will see signs in the moon stars and the Heavens? Guess what? As I was taking the rubbish out to the bin just before I saw the moon, and do you know how the moon as light around it? I saw a huge circle so wide around it. The rest of the night sky was dark blue, but around the moon was a very large dark black circle and around that was light. I have never seen this before christians. I wished I had a camera, but I guess even if I did it would not have fitted in the film anyway. It was too large. I just though I would share this with you. a few years ago this man had a vision of God opening up the Heavens wiht his large hands and took the picture and sent it in to the weather buro and the person that saw it said it was amizing and could nto beleive his eyes. I have the picutre on my internet to proove this. It was two very large hands opening up the bright Heavens around dark clouds. Awsome. And if you want me to send it to you as proof let

I've got a mk2 P reg Mondeo with damp carpet on the passenger side of my car. its mainly at the back (proper saturated) but also at the front.

After scanning many of the owners club forums and ripping up a bit of carpet i think i've tracked it down to coming from the centre pillar (the A frame?). what ideas can you think of as reasons, and how can i best do a bodge DIY fix?

any ideas? the car was only £400 on ebay, so i don't want to take it to a garage and get charged a quarter of its value to get it fixed.

I had a dream that I was scared and I ran to the door but the door had no door knob. I looked around and the entertainment center was facing the wall instead of the living room and I ran to the bedroom looking for somebody and I opened the closet but the there was no closet, there was wall. So it was like a door attached to a wall. There wasnt even a space to put stuff in. Just a brick wall. WOnder what this means..

I just had my emissions done on my OBDII car. I kept the engine running the entire time to make sure the cats stayed hot to help pass inspection.

When I got my report back, I passed, but under the ASM2 tailpipe inspection section, everything is listed as N/A.

Was it unnecessary for me to keep my engine running the entire time and wasting gas?

I guess only OBDI cars use the tail pipe sniffer.... ???

Philosophically speaking, in our modern world, is it immoral to download movies from bittorrent sites, limewire, usenet, or other methods of file sharing without paying for it?

If you would never have watched the movie otherwise or been willing to pay for it, is it still immoral if nothing is taken from the people who created it?

How do you ethically place an act that does not actually directly harm the movie studios, but benefits you with work they created and own?

I live in a brick ranch which is a very boring tan color. The roof is a light brown. It's all very neutral and boring. I want to paint my front door to add some color. The window in my front door has a covering over it which is in purple tones (so people can't see in). I was thinking of going with an eggplant color. One neighbor says it'll look good and the other said it won't. I also thought about going with a bronze color, but again, my neighbors said its too orange. Any ideas..... no Red please.

This isn't a racial comment. I have a question about consistency.

Don Imus is white, his victims were black.

Vick is black, his victims were not white. They are dogs. Dogs who would lick Vick's hand before dying from a fight he caused them to suffer.

They are animals which most people view as friends to all. Trusting without condition and dependent on the kindness of people.

In the case of Don Imus, it was just as likely that his victims would commit the same offense. Not so with the dogs.

If the crusade with Sharpton is real, shouldn't he be equally and publiclly demanding of Vick for his offense?

Understand that I'm one of those in the office who others ask about spelling questions. I pride myself on being a good speller.

There are certain words, though, that I ALWAYS have trouble with.

My number one Nemesis? Rhythm...and I had to look it up to make sure I spelled it correctly just now!

Oh, by extension, this means I always have trouble with the music group Eurythmics too (but I looked it up!). lol

What about you? Do you have a "mental block" on certain words too? It's okay if you misspell your word, we're all friends here!
