I got into quite a fender bender with s 04' Crystler Town & Country (minivan) today. I want to pay for the victims damage out of my pocket. The rear bumper will need to be replaced and the backside lift-gate will need some parts replaced. What do you all think, everyone I know is aproximating $1300, instant online quotes are at 1100... That do to all the recent questions regarding Ishmael's covenant, I have fund out that Hagar, the mother of Ishmael (the patriarch of the Arabs) worshipped Jehovah? Not Allah, but Jehovah.
Would that not mean that Ishmael also worshipped Jehovah?
Genesis 16:13 Then she began to call the name of Jehovah, who was speaking to her.

Does this mean that the Jews, Christians and Muslims all share a common bond in that they all refuse to use God's personal name in their worship?

Using Strong's Exhaustive Concardance, we see that the word LORD, used in the 1611 King James Version, and most other Bible translations is really Jehovah.
In Strong's the Hebrew/Chaldee word is # 3068-Yehovah, transliterated into English? Jehovah.

So (sorry for my excitement) why do these three major religions not use God's personal name in their prayers and worship?

They demand the same wages as men, however, there are many jobs that they couldn't do as well because they are the weaker gender. For example, construction work and police officers. Plus, you have to figure in women's emotional states affecting their output as well. I'm not saying women should do these jobs but if they did, do you really think they should be paid the same as men? If not, what percentage should they be paid when compared to men's salaries? 75%? 60%?

I was playing with my normally very friendly golden retriever in the park yesterday.He loves his ball and a little girl was throwing it for him, he did seem a bit possesive of it.Anyway, she was just stroking him gently, he had the ball in his mouth and he suddenly bit her.It was really horrible, luckily her mother wasnt angry.He didnt draw blood but i cant let this happen again.I have decided to ban him playing with his ball, keep him away from children and possibly get him castrated.Can anyone shed any light on this?I am so shocked by this, I have two children of my own so know how the mother must have felt.
So disappointed in my dog, who is normally so friendly.

I don't believe that the theory of evolution is correct. Instead I believe the story of creation in the Bible. What is funny is that non-believers call me a sheep for listening to the Church instead of thinking for myself. The non-believers want me to wake up, start thinking for myself, and then listen to them and believe the way THEY say that I should believe. Explain that to me, all of you out there who don't believe in creationism and think that ALL Christians are stupid, mindless, robots. Instead of toeing the line with the Church, I am supposed to toe the line with the so-called "free-thinking" realists. If anyone questions the validity of the THEORY of evolution, then they are ridiculed, mocked, derided, and laughed at. How does that type of behavior exemplify a open-minded and free-thinking society. If you believe that there is no God and that evolution explains life on this planet, then you have made an assumption just as I have. I assume there is a God. You assume there isn't.
