Would you even think about talking to your child about masturbation? Basically, like including it in teh sex talk? What age? Male AND female?
or just let them find out and if they ask questions answer? If they asked how would you explain it to them?

I would definitely talk to a child about sex when they're old enough to understand and not be completely confused. My parents didn't talk to me about it and I had no idea what was going on...and it made me what to experiment all that much more.

i wouldnt talk to my child about masturbation, thats a bit weird. but i would talk to him/her about sex. i say a good age would probally be around 12 because its usually in 6th grade when your child is in sex ed, so theyre already getthing talked about it anyways. so i think thats a good age. not to young & not too late !

What is there to explain? Many toddlers seem to do it w/o any explanation. I think that makes as much sense as teaching them to blink.

Yes, you tell them it is something that they should do in private and that it is totally normally. Also tell them to wash their hands afterward.
Bring it up early if your child is masturbating in inappropriate places, such as the living room.

Me and my mom had an aquward talk about a few weeks ago, I think we both now know that each other do it.

i would hate if my parent tried talking to me about masturbation.
thats a private thing and you dont need to talk to them about it.
its not like its a problem.

i wouldn't tell them about masturbating but the whole sex talk has to happen. i would say " it is the lowest form self pleasure and you will have no friends if you do it" that's entirely a lie but at least it will keep it from happening for a while.

you parents are sick for wanting to masturbate and have sex with your children. Even talking to them about it is incest and wrong
