My mom came here 30+ years ago married my father. Our house got broken into and whomever did it stole all of our families records, keepsakes, etc. They took my mother's passport and birth certificate. She has a greencard and social security card and had her license but lost it about a month ago, we are having a BIG issue trying to get a duplicate because we are finding out she has an old version of the greencard, any suggestions?

hi,
just curious, say someone won a 50 million dollar lottery in nj, what would they get after taxes, what would the final check be? And i know they usually tax you right away and then give the check, but what about the next year when you get money from bank interest on the winning, those will also be taxes a lot right?

I am making my own bouquets for my wedding, so I am going with the very easy-to-make dome shape. Here's an example: http://www.theknot.com/ch_article.html?Object=A30610114159 The problem is this type takes A LOT of roses, which equals a lot of money. What would be a nice greenery that I could use that would be easy to use and make the bouquet less expensive?

Hi
I am trying to install xp on my macbook. using bootcamp
I am getting error,
when making partition
"Verification failed. This disk could not be partitioned.
Use Disk Utility to repair this disk."
when I try to use disk utlity to make partition
I see there
"this disk contains the startup volume and can't be partitioned."

please please help me install xp on my macbook permanently, I want both mac os x & xp on it

Hi guys. When ever i show my songs to people on my cds, they keep telling me im the white hendrix. Im not bragging... I'm complaining! I love Hendrix stuff so much that i just hate every other style of guitar playing besides him... I can make a purely new original song, then it sounds like hendrix did lol... I just bend notes and love doing blues runs like him. I also for some reason play out of key when i solo sometimes and it sounds pretty cool, but its like hendrix when he does it!!! Im scared that if i make a successful career, that i will be judged as a hendrix wannabe... In a way i am... But what do you think i should do? I try to get interested in other guitarists but they bore the **** out of me...

I am getting married in October and my future sister in law, whom is a bridesmaid in my wedding, wants to bring her friend and husband to the wedding to watch their almost 2yr old son. My fiance and I don't even know these people she wants to bring. I just don't understand why her son can't sit with a family member during the ceremony??!?!?!?! The venue we booked is priced on 100 people not 102 or more. We cut our guest list as it is to stay at the 100 mark. What should I do? Stand my ground and say nope they can't come or deal with it and have these strangers there to have a "free" weekend on us?

This is the first time in a long time I've asked a question. A lot of people seem to think AKC papers mean their dog is perfect. Well please take the time to answer the following questions:
1.) True or False: breeders must produce excellent quality pups in order to get AKC papers.
2.) True or False: All AKC papers prove are that the animal you purchase is a purebred.
3.) True or False: When a responsible breeder looks for a good stud to mate her female with, all he/she looks for is a male registered with the AKC. After all--wouldn't the dog have to pass rigorous standards in order to obtain AKC papers?
4.) True or False: AKC papers are extremely expensive; only responsible, caring breeders would take the time to get them, because they must have a combination of money to spare and responsibility to get them. Backyard breeders would not have papers available because they are not responsible and won't shell out money to buy the papers.
