I am trying to install xp on my macbook. using bootcamp
I am getting error,
when making partition
"Verification failed. This disk could not be partitioned.
Use Disk Utility to repair this disk."
when I try to use disk utlity to make partition
I see there
"this disk contains the startup volume and can't be partitioned."

please please help me install xp on my macbook permanently, I want both mac os x & xp on it

u need to insert the disk 1 of the os x install disks that came with it. then @ the top menu bar go 2 utilities ( i think it is) and open disk utility. next click on the hard drive and click the repair disk button. after its finished boot into osx and run the bootcamp wizard and it should work. oh yea i forgot to boot from a cd press and hold c during startup.
