Two things that those on the far Left simply cannot abide by are private gun ownership and homeschooling – and largely for the same reasons

They both tend to lessen your dependence on government.

The first element gun ownership and homeschooling have in common is self-reliance. A firearm in the hands of a trained and peaceable person makes that person more able to protect himself and his family against any who would seek to harm them. Likewise, homeschooling allows a family to nurture educated, capable, independent children without relying upon the government.

The second commonality lies in providing something for your family that government cannot, or will not, offer. As capable as our police are, they cannot be nearby every second of every day and cannot offer you the constant protection that your own firearm can. Similarly, homeschooling allows you to raise your children according to your beliefs, using your values, and with accountability that only one-on-one instruction can provide

Remember, not everyone who supports homeschooling chooses to homeschool their own kids. So, too, not everyone who supports the Second Amendment chooses to own a firearm. But liberals simply don't want anyone to have that choice

Liberal elites do everything they can to marginalize people who do not buy into their government-centered view

Everyone has all the "big" items covered ( wagon, tricycle, table/chairs, coupe car, etc.). Should we also get him something "big" since we are the parents or is it alright to get him something smaller?

I have some boric acid powder and want to make a 2% solution. How do I measure the boric acid and put the right amount into the water to make 2%? Actually, it doesn't have to be exactly 2%. Even 3 or 4 percent would probably be okay. A "mild" solution, as it's to be used on the skin to try to kill tinea.

Can this be done by measuring with teaspoons? I am looking for a simple home method, I don't have any laboratory equipment.

Early on in my walk with the Lord, I felt moved by the Holy Spirit to get rid of my TV. I have been without my own television for about 6 years or so now, AND DON'T MISS IT AT ALL!

Have you felt the Lord move you to take the same action ? Did you respond positively, or are you delaying ? Any other thoughts concerning this subject ?

Thanks in advance for all polite answers.

Bless you.

My family consists of very devout baptists. I mean my roots are Carolina mountain roots so heavy on the Christianity and so I was raised... however I have come to doubt certian things... I am trying to find my way. The thing is I have a 2.5 almost 3 year old baby... If for some slim chance my way of thinking is wrong, I do not want her to suffer an "eternity in hell" as you Christians put it because of my bad mistake... But then again I don't really 100% into the Christian belief...

My dilema is I am constantly worried about my daughter. I don't want anything bad to ever happen (who would??) to her but I also want to ensure that *If* something did happen, she would be at peace.

Maybe some Christians could help me out - would your God really punish a child into hell for eternity eventhough they know no better (at age 3 I doubt she can comprehand such things). Thanks!

Is it because they prematurely declared that the U.S. and allies have already lost?
If the battle in Iraq can not be won, then, what sort of battle can the U.S. and allies win?
I'm really baffled. I've never seen people so eager to annonce to the world that they are losers.
Your thoughts please. Explain, please.
-Thanks.

So I am coming to terms that the Catholic Chruch is the true church in the sense that it has the correct interpretion of Christianity. I understand using Church Tradition with the bible and the holy spirt and that it is the original group that Jesus created.

However what about other Christians, many truely love jesus and seek to follow and adore him. I have seen God work in people lives and seen the holy spirit move in shuch groups.

What is the catholic viewpoint, I know that catholics have been open to building relationships outside of the church.

I would like to hear from catholics about this, I dont want to hear from people who just st say that catholics are wrong.

Read www.catholic.com and study it and you too will be walking out of the evangelical church based on facts,

My first daughter is two and she is spoiled rotten, but I know she so badly wants to have someone to interact with her close to her age. And I could see myself having another, but how long should I wait before doing so. Would having two children close in age not be good for them. Would my first daughter have issues with bringing a sibling in the house? Or should I just stick to one child and focus all on her? Im afraid that if I have another, I wont love them equally?Am I the only one that feels this way?? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank You in advance!

I feel a need to inform you of the facts.

What goes on in that miraculous body of yours in any given 28 days? Read on.
The very short version:
Egg ripens. Egg leaves ovary. Egg travels down the fallopian tube toward uterus. If egg goes unfertilized, you get your period.

The long version:

Day 1: Your period starts.
For whatever reason, Day 1 of your cycle is counted as the first day you see that telltale spot of blood. Generally this happens every 28 days or so (though like everything else, cycles vary by person). If in that time the egg in your uterus does not get fertilized by a sperm, the egg disintegrates and is expelled from your body. On Day 1, your cramps are probably at their worst as your uterus contracts to push out the egg and the cells and blood that nurtured and fed the egg as it grew.
Day 1 to 14: Called the estrogen phase of the menstrual cycle.
The day you get your period, your body's estrogen level is at its lowest, and from there it starts to go up. Your brain sends a signal to your pituitary gland, which releases a hormone called FSH, or Follicle Stimulating Hormone. When the follicles in your ovaries sense the FSH, they munch happily away at it. This makes them produce estrogen. The estrogen causes one of the hundreds of tiny, slumbering eggs inside the ovaries to start developing.
Day 2-5: Bleeding, bleeding, bleeding.
Less so each day.
Day 6: Egg be gone!
The bleeding has usually stopped by now. Meanwhile, the stimulated, FSH-happy egg is maturing and getting ready for ovulation.
Day 7-12: La, la, la, you go about your life.
The egg, meanwhile, is growing, and the follicle is expanding to accommodate it. The follicle is still producing estrogen, which makes the lining of your uterus nice and puffy and spongy--if you were to get pregnant, this lining would provide the fertilized egg with the food it needs to grow into a baby.
Day 13-14: Ovulation!!
The new egg has reached maturity and exits the follicle just rarin' to go. You might actually feel it when you ovulate--a little twinge or cramp in your lower abdomen or back. It's called mittelschmerz, which is German for "middle pain." You may see a teeny drop of blood. This is probably fine, but if you're concerned, see your doctor. Your body temperature rises up to one degree and stays up until you get your period. The natural mucus covering your cervix (the entrance to your uterus) starts to thin out so the sperm can get through and fertilize the egg.
Day 15-18: The egg takes a trip.
The days when the egg travels down the fallopian tube, usually Days 12-17 or so, are when you're most likely to get pregnant. While the egg's in the tube, your estrogen level drops again and the follicles begin producing progesterone. Unsurprisingly, this is called the progesterone phase.
Day 19-20: Your uterus prepares for pregnancy. The progesterone makes the fluid around your cervix thicken up again and tells your uterus to build up the protein, sugar and blood necessary to nourish a fertilized egg. Progesterone is a big ingredient in PMS, so you may start feeling a little crabby and your skin might break out a little.
Day 21-28: The progesterone and estrogen are still increasing, so you may feel soreness in your breasts, bloating and food cravings. One theory holds that your body hankers for carbohydrates because they'd come in handy if you were indeed pregnant. You might want to avoid salt right now, because if you're bloated already, salt will make you retain even more water. If the egg remains unfertilized, your estrogen and progesterone levels drop, and both the egg and the endometrium dissolve. Cramps begin, bringing you back to Day 1: Your period starts.

This is for all the girls out there who ask this question, or questions of the sort...

YES you could be pregnant it:

you had sex for your first time
you had sex with a condom
you had sex without a condom
he pulled out
he didn't have an orgasm (precum contains sperm too)
you didn't have an orgasm
you are on birth control (happens all the time)
you had sex on your period
you had sex in water
you prayed that you wouldn't get pregnant
etc. (feel free to add on)

If you have had sex AT ALL, it is possible to become pregnant.

If you think you may be PLEASE take a test, because no matter what answers you recieve on here, these answers will not determine if you are pregnant or not.

Thanks
