You can lose that in about 35 weeks. You need to exercise more than you are. You don't sound very motivated.

It's good that you are exercising. You also need to look at what you eat. And every time you get a craving for something fatty, find a healthy snack instead. You can have that can of pop or that McDonald's cheeseburger, just no more then once a week. Your not on a diet, your changing your lifestyle. Try to find a sport, or even go to intramurals. Play outside or ride a bike. You also have to push yourself if you want to be leaner. Running at the same pace will get you nowhere. And try to burnout ( do them until you can't anymore ) on your crunches everyday. Gradually you will get better.
And don't worry about that pool party. As long as you bring your confidence and a great bathing suit, you'll be fine!

They are four basic rules for losing weight and these might surprise you.
1 Eat when you are hungry
if you starve yourself your body goes into survival mode and stores the fat hence you gain weight.
2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should
if you ban foods it only makes them more appealing and you will end up giving in, your body will choose a balance diet if left to its own devices.
3. Eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful
don't eat while watching TV or doing other stuff take your time with the meal and enjoy it.
4. When you think you are full stop eating.
this is your body saying you have had enough better to waste food on a plate and throw it away than to let the waste turn into fat in your body.
Think about this how many thin people do you know who say they can eat what they want and not gain weight? they either knowingly or unknowingly are obeying the four rules above.

Nature does not work in a hurry generally. Perhaps only lightning happens at once, or maybe a cell swiftly mutating in a blink of a moment in time -- but of course even in that instance much has preceded the event that allows such a leap to occur.
So, take your time and do nothing foolish, certainly not simply from some prompting of a pool party.
Rest assured -- that party will come and go in a lot quicker time than you could lose weight safely and wisely.
We would rather you be shy than be unhealthy.
Oh -- by the way -- shhh.... Not a word (tell no one)... --
--It is this, you won't be this way forever as you fear. Fear not.

Hi,
I know exactly how you feel. In my early teens I weighed nearly 180. Some advice I can give is limit your pop and chip intake to once a week, eat more fibre and home cooked meals, drink plenty of water, eat smaller portions, but under no circumstances should you starve yourself. Also get in the routine of taking an hour long evening walk, and continue with your exercise.
Good luck.

You are excersizing, which is a start.
You need to examine your diet...Are you eating healthy or do you snack alot on unhealthy food? How much do you eat for meals? What do you eat for meals?
Greasy, sweet, or fake foods will make you put on more weight.
If all of these things are no (dont snack, eat heathly, etc) then you can cut the portions. Eat 3/4 of what you were before. You might still be hungry, but it will fade a bit.

exercise is good, but you have to also watch what you eat. No candy, no fast food crud, eat veggies and fruits and limit your meat intake. You need to change your lifestyle now while you are still young. The older you get, the harder it gets to change from unhealthy and thoughtless, to healthy and thoughtful.

Stop eating! There was an episode about this on Doug way back when I was a kid. I really hope you know what Doug is. Buy anyway.... you are way to young to be worrying about your weight. Save that until your 30 or something. Get busy living or get busy dieing.

I am 12 and I weigh 150! If your "friends" are really your "friends" they would respect you and not care about your body! Look at this on youtube! You will get inspired:
