a friend asked me how high the possibilities of getting pregnant are when you have unprotected sex the day after your period ends. i couldn't give her any answer as I'm still in my first year of med school and we haven't tackled sex thoroughly yet. can anyone help me give her some answer?

If you take a bowling ball and a ping-pong ball and dropped them in a vacum they would both fall at the SAME speed. Mass plays no part in the speed of the objects. So how in the world would one's mass have to be increased to achieve the speed of light? Gravity is a result of lots of mass, the bigger the mass the more the gravity. I can see incresing power to get closer to the speed of light but how does that increase one's mass? Does a car going at 100 mph have more mass than a car going at 20mph? It may have more energy but not more mass. Can someone help me with this or point me in the right direction?

Please don't take this the wrong way because it's just a question I have been thinking about alot lately.
If most religions say that when you die you go onto a perfect land and everything is perfect, why do religiouse people continue to live on Earth which I guess woud be hell compared to that place.

The issue of global worming is really taking over. The scientists are really trying hard to convince people that it’s true & happening, wake up now or face the consequences. We are also running out of fossil fuels. Well if so is the situation how come we are still building monster SUVs just built to drink more patrol & pollute, how come Boeing is set on making bigger planes such as A380s which I happened to know from NGC that it sucks up almost a liter of gasoline per second. So, if we will for sure run out of fossil fuels, why make such things? Is this happening for real or is just a conspiracy?

It is said that increased cardiac output may be an early feature, followed by increased peripheral resistance and normalisation of cardiac output.
The increased peripheral resistance is developed in a compensatory manner to prevent the raised pressure being transmitted to the capillary bed where it would substantially affect homeostasis.
What i don't understand is why is peripheral resistance developed when cardiac output increased? How does this mechanism work?
And does this only apply to essential hypertension?

My friend just said thats 'why you're alone'! That really hurt me!
Just because she lays down with anything that says Hi, she thinks i should too.
I dont see why I should settle for someone just because they like me. Isnt the whole point to like them back?
The guys that approach me arent model boyfriend material, they are involved in gun crime or dont have a clue about what they want to do in life.
Shall I just settle and stop being picky or shall I hold out for the 'one'??
