CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - A court-martial for the alleged Marine ringleader in the kidnapping and execution of an Iraqi civilian began Tuesday with attorneys in the case screening potential jurors.
Marine Sgt. Lawrence G. Hutchins III, 23, the leader of the eight-man squad involved in the death, is charged with murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, assault and other crimes. Hutchins, of Plymouth, Mass., faces a mandatory life sentence if convicted of murder.
Prosecutors say Hutchins' squad hatched a plot to kidnap and kill a suspected insurgent. But when they were unable to find him, the troops instead kidnapped a neighbor, 52-year-old Hashim Ibrahim Awad, marched him 1,000 yards from his house and shot him to death. Sgt Hutchins stated he did it for the USA and to help win the war.

I have heard people say that Evolution is "just a theory" and that they need something to be "more than a theory" in order for them to believe it. In order for something to reach the level of "theory" it must have gone through much scientific debate and scrutiny in order for it to still be called a theory.
The theory of gravity is "just a theory" too. It is rather unfortunate that people who believe solely in creationism and that evolution (the when and how) cannot coexist with creationism (the who and the why) do not understand what the term "theory" means and why saying that something is a theory is a powerful statement about its validity.

How come he was so small with the pirates and then all of the sudden he turns into the incredible hulk. From 1990 to 2000 the most he had ever hit was 49 homers then all of the sudden he hits 70 thats a 21 homerun swing in one year so we know when bonds started taking steroids you can also look at sosa's stats and you will find the same thing you can tell when they started taking steroids by looking at their stats look for yourself for bonds he started in 1999 its obvious

5 & 6 year plds both been doing loop the loop all day, they have been out to the park to run some energy off and played outside all day.

I'm severely depressed and have been for over 7 years. But lately i've been feeling worse. It seems like every year that passes, my symptoms get worse. I have absolute no energy or motivation to do anything, even things I once loved to do. I feel like I'm going crazy, i dont know what do to anymore. I tried to get help from my family, but when i told them that I've been depressed for years, my sister laughed and my mom didnt believe it was serious.
look, i have tried to self-cope and try to think happy thoughts and try to make my life better, but it doesnt work. Its a cycle, i feel good one day, the next i want to die.
I really cant take it anymore. i've been living like this for a long time and i'm sick of it. i know theres ppl out there who feel the same way as i do, so my question is how do you cope and get through each and every day, without succumbing to suicide?

i feel i missed an oppertunity for happyness for a lifetime when she told me she still had feelings for me 6 years ago that day still lingers in my mind as i said what can we do about it and she turned and walked away and i didnt stop her. i went home and didnt think about it till it was to late. now im lonley and dwelling on the past how do i git over my mistake even though i tell myself it was probly for the best and it was so long ago

I think this is insane. A 5 or 6 year old doesn't need sex education at their age. They already have enough stupid classes that they are forced to take that they don't need. There's no reason to throw in sex education. A 5 year old doesn't even know what sex is so why should they learn it? My kids wouldn't be going to school at all if I found out they'd be forced to have sex education. I don't think it's right to force sex education on a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds. Parents and teachers what do you think about this?

I've just started doing some freelance work for a company and am not sure how much to save for my tax bill. I will probably earn around £1,500 a month before tax. This is my only job. I heard somewhere that I should save around 28%, does this sound about right? Better to be safer than have to fork out a wad at the end of the tax year!
