Thank you for answering this question, My lil sister actually posted this one, I was a bit surprised when i saw so many responses, Well of course i fed my poor cats, they were deprived of food for a horrible 30 min, I think they might eat way to much actually, but i spoil them so ..yeah.

Normal procedure would be to feed it.

If the cat is still hungry after being fed an appropriate amount of food, switch to a higher quality food and/or get it checked by a vet, especially if it's older as it may have hyperthyroidism if it's frantically hungry.

It's not a question of calming a hungry cat down, it's a question of correcting the hunger in the first place.
