If I tolerate things around me, I am just living it, whether it's positive or negative. Tolerating things/people means to allow it to happen and not to stand up against it if it's harmful and ignore it if it helpful.

Well I'm not really sure if I got a hand raised budgie or anything, but I just bought two today and they seem to be very tame. I can already scratch them on their heads and they go on my finger without running away. Should I keep doing this for the first few weeks? After they master this, what do I do next? I'm really excited about my two new boys! On the way home, I was talking to them and they moved closer to me as I talked and listened! Anyway, thanks in advance xP.

I was shopping for clothes and found this beautiful top. I asked the middle-aged woman behind the counter if she had it in my size and when I told her my size, she gave me a contemptuous look that was like 'sure you are, sweetheart'. My friend had a 5150 psychiatric hold put on her that turned into a 5250 hold because she tried to committ suicide after her husband found out about her third affair in less than 2 yrs.

The details about the affair are gritty and heartbreaking because we've known each other for 10 yrs and we're both 19 yrs old now. My friend has been married for 4 yrs to a man she's been living with since she was 12y/o. He's 8yrs older. They have 3 kids together.

My problem comes with how this affects our friendship. Apparently my friend took her 2yr old twin daughters with her to meet this man she met off of the phone chat and she had sex with him while her children were being watched by who knows!

I find this fact disgusting and I don't really know how I should treat my friend after she gets out of the mental institution. Is this friendship worth keeping with someone who might relaspe. I don't want to abandon her at her time of need.

Should I keep the friendship?

A woman who was pregnant went into labor. her husband drove her to the hospital and when they got there, they brought her up and got her all prepared to have the baby. the doctor then told them about a new invention, a machine that took some of the pain the woman was feeling and transferred it to the father. the man said, "alright, we'll try it." so they put it at 25% pain, and the man didn't feel anything so he said, "hey, you know, I don't feel anything, crank it up!" so they put it at 50%. again, he felt nothing, so he said "this ain't so bad, turn it up again!" so they put it at 75% and he again he didn't feel anything so he said "this is nothing! turn it up all the way!" so they put it at 100% and the man still felt nothing. so the baby was delivered, and they came home to find the mailman dead on the doorstep.
funny joke a friend told me, just wanted to see who else thought it was funny. don't think this was exactly how the joke went, but close enough.
