OK, but the God of the New Testament is not the same with the God of the Old Testament..??
True believers in God don't kill, only Satan believers kill..!!
God don't command a thing like that..never..! If He wants to take a soul to Him, He take it widowed no permission and no help..!

You for sure already comprehend the respond to this. Your question isn't probable a query yet a assertion. particular, The God of the previous Testment commanded distinctive Kings to utterly wipe out finished cities (with show classes to kill all dwelling issues - alongside with women, toddlers, and animals). on occasion they did what they have been instructed yet on occasion not. In a minimum of one case they killed every person yet saved the animals alive. on occasion they killed each and all of the boys yet took the distant places women as spoils of conflict. So, they did not continually do what God stated. Why did God tell them to try this? that's a plenty extra suitable question. especially plenty all religions have scripture that helps the extermination of ones enemies (christianity, islam, judaism). Danny N is incorrect. we don't stay in "Grace" - that's a fallacy. Jesus himself reported that the regulation isn't replaced. The regulation of the previous testomony maintains to be the regulation immediately (The regulation of Moses). Christians have deceived themselves into believing some thing that's not real (and is contrary of what became into commanded with the help of Jesus).

Not this believer.
You have to read the whole Bible, not just the cool parts. If you did, you'd find that the Old Testament was given to the Jews at a certain point in their history. The commands were useful at the time.
The New Testament says that the OT was there to show us that we can't be righteous enough to please God on our own. We can't keep his commandments. That's why Jesus came. He fulfilled the law and we're no longer obligated to it. That makes the OT interesting reading, but not a list of rules for present-day believers to follow.

In some situations certain cities and nations had to be wiped out, but God warned them and warned them over and over again before it was done. The people had a choice. God would have been happy to save them, He tried, but the people quite often didn't listen to His warnings. If you read the bible, it'll make much more sense! Everything is in context. God is always good, and He doesn't want anyone to die, but people make really bad decisions alot of the time, and they don't listen to God when He warns them about what's going to happen. They don't take Him seriously, and then when disaster strikes they wonder what happened, when God was trying to warn them all along, and even would have changed events if the people only listened and asked.

Why yes, I believe he does, but then he seems to have evolved a little by the time the New Testament is written which only proves that evolution is a real and potent force working everywhere and all the time.

No - this is not a commandment. Commandments are in Leviticus. You're citing a story in Deuteronymy, describing the rules of engagement and Yes - this was the order for the invasion.

In Old Testament judaism God judges sin. God is not just a God of love but is also a just God that judges sin and hates sin thank God Jesus came to forgive us of sin if we believe in him and ask for forgiveness so we can be redeemed to God.

Exodus 22:18 You shall not permit a witch to live.
It presumes witches exist and admonishes to not let them live.
Who do you suppose determines whether a woman is a witch, the Red Hat Ladies?

Sure does...look for yourself:
"Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.”” (1 Sam. 15:2-3)
