Life is pointless unless there is a Creator who created us for a purpose.

You use the word "seem" which implies feelings. Most people search their whole life for good feelings. But there is no rational basis for feelings; one person may feel their purpose is to help people and another person may feel their purpose is to conquer the world. There is no accounting for feelings.

If we think God might exist, then it makes sense to seek God because if God exists, it is most likely that He put the need for purpose into our human nature in order to get us to seek Him.

If we reject God, then we're sunk into an endless search for meaningless good feelings.

I agree with everything that you said. Most people on this planet have some sense of entitlement and self importance. When really the truth of the matter is that the life of a hobo who has nothing when he dies means just as much as somebody who was rich and successful. It just does not matter what you acquire in this life because none of it means anything out of this realm. Money, Degrees, Jobs, New cars, fancy houses, nice clothes and everything superficial means squat outside of earth. These are just things that we have created to provide a distraction from the bigger picture. I have never been one to be blinded or caught up with the illusions of it all. I just can't. I lead my life in a strange way but honestly I wouldn't want it any other way. I see the world for what it really is and I will never be in the ignorance is bliss mentality. Every human thinks they have a purpose or a reason for being here. It is not true. That is a security blanket that people use because accepting life for what it is "MEANINGLESS" is too hard for them to cope with. I have been having a major existential crisis for the last few years but this year has been the worst so far. My depression has escalated in the worst of ways. But still I feel like I am living in a higher state of consciousness and understanding than other people. So in that way I feel blessed. You should too. You KNOW what the world really is and you can see through all the bullshit. Although I warn you that thinking this way is not healthy and it can spiral you into a very deep depression (like where I am currently at). Just keep going. I would suggest picking up some books by Albert Camus. The man was an existential nihilist and he was very intelligent. He sounds like someone who could help you. Hang in there. Life may be pointless but it's all we got.

That's not all. Life is beautiful if you cherish it. There is always time to spend with your family and friends, make more friends and fall in love. Once you have that someone special to spend your life with, your life will seem much more special. You only get to live once. If you don't make the most of it, accomplish all the goals you want, you regret it for eternity.

You will see your life as that if you don't know God. Better know God and you will see how beautiful our life is. We can do great things aside from making money. You dont have to fear death because it is just another stage of our life. You may not believe but you can try knowing to make your life worthwhile.
