i'm 19 and my mum n dad split when i was little and my dad wasnt very interested in me and hardly saw me unless it suited him, my mum died when i was 15 and my dad dint ring me or get in any contact at all afterward, even tho i'm his only child and he wasnt bothered, i dint get a card or he dint ask if i was ok, nothing, could u forgive him?

In the past 5 months I've had several dreams about my father dying. I've also had dreams about my mother dying. They normally die suddenly from an illness, heart attack, stroke ect... I live far away from them so I also get a call from one of them telling me the other has died. What does this mean?

My Dad is about to go to work in Korea. Will a UK/Europe GSM mobile phone work over there? I know UK uses GSM 900/1800 and USA uses GSM1900, but what does Korea use? I know when I was there in 1999 my 900/1800 Nokia didn't work...

Mike was sitting at the bar. He ordered a drink and saw this beautiful woman sitting a few seats down. He smiles at her and she smiles back. When she was getting up from her seat to go talk to Mike another man walks up to her. Mike was caught off guard because the man wasn't a very good looking man at all. Suddenly the woman and the ugly man walked out of the bar together giggling.

The bartender brings Mike his drink. Frazzled he asked the bartender "Are those two regulars?"
The bartender looks at him and said "Well the girl is, but I have never seen the man before."
"Do you suppose their dating?"
"I don't think so, they came in at seperate times and didn't notice each other until now."
"Did you hear anything they said?" Mike asked
To which the bartender replies, "I didn't hear anything, but I did see him touch his ear with his tounge."

i can remember doing 3 tours one after another [with about 1 month off in between]
[defence secretary - 1 year tour interval my ar*e !!!]
on coming back we had the usual "do"; and during the evening we pinned our medals on our partners evening dresses to show our appreciation.
needless to say the next day - all hell to pay
we get medals to polish - they get nothing
what do you think ???

Ideas like the "big bang" etc they dismiss and give some drivle about the almightly. bare in mind that the people who wrote the bible were ignorant off most science, so wouldn't have been able to formulate theories about the big band, evolution etc.
So why now that we have a greater understanding can religion types not look to merge these ideas?
(sorry to the rational open people out there for any generalisations)

Hi, I'm planning to go to my first AFL football game.

Im just wondering, if the game starts at 1.00pm, what time should I expect it to end? Is it easy to leave the game at the end, or are there big crowds?

Also, I dont think you can take McDonalds or those sort of things into the stadium. But I am wanting to purchase a box of Krispy Kreme donuts before the game fo take home afterwards. Can I bring these in with me? They will be in a Krispy Kreme box. Alternatively, If i have the box in a garbage bag or dark coloured bag so that no one else can see them, is this ok?

A mans job is it to take the beach or Fallujah or anything that involves beeing exposed to enemy fire fast reflexes and balls of steel. Amazingly feminists agree on it as well. Why dont feminists agree that big buisness or science is a mans job as well depsite the absence of female success (even in a time where they are actually favoured over men, despite of what current day feminists say) ? Why invest in women and send them to buisness school ? I mean you could use your Computer as a doorstopper and see if you can get your calculator to handle C++ somehow, but why would you do that ? Why do feminists insist Men should be home changing diapers so women can run down Juggernauts ? I am not saying a woman cant be better than a man, it depends on how you pair them up, but for every good woman there is always a better man, just like in sports, so why invest in women ?

Not even a peep (sans the Evening Standard who then turned the story on its head to say how a 'smear campaign' against the McCanns was taking place)

Balanced reporting as usual from the British media.

(and need I go into how the Evening Standard completely changed the tone of their story yesterday from the morning's online edition to that which appeared in the afternoon. How suspicious is that?)

I have this rare huge Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban vinyl movie banner and it was sitting in my room folded for a few months and I unfolded it to sell on ebay, but it has a few creeses [sp] and wrinkles in the middle. Is there ANYTHING I could do to restore it a little? Thanks!
