i.e. how many people have engaged in pre-marital sex, or committed adultary, stolen etc.

If you are a devout follower of your faith, how do you feel knowing you have done that?

I was drunk in college and only did it once. He asked for it with his seductive walk and dog biscuit breath.

many people fall to all of the above snares. someone that is committed to their own dogma, as you put it, would just feel dissappointed they fell. hopefully, they would not be so dissapointed/depressed that they would keep falling. hopefully, their brothers/sisters will help them get up and running and in life again and get back even closer to God. Christians are not perfect people, they are just forgiven. Many of them, have to keep asking for forgiveness along lifes road. Through God's grace, they are forgiven when they make mistakes. Grace is better than amnesty !

To violate one's accepted theological or moral dogma and then to refuse to repent of that sin are to cease to be devout or honest.

Just wait and see how many say "All sin, all have sinned except god" blah blah blah.....all they have to do is say they're sorry and all is forgiven, so why NOT break their own rules?
