One of the interesting things about being a journalist is that in the course of my work I am constantly learning about new subjects. Most recently I wrote a two-part series on the Wiccan religion. I knew a little bit about it when I took up the story, but in both my research and the interviews I conducted, I learned a lot more. This happens often, and it is one of the things I like about my career.
