I mean, seriously...it's healthier than shooting up or popping pills, isn't it?

My ex-husband and I got married at 27 and at the time he was fully aware that I never intended to have children and he told me he was ok with that. I couldn’t find a doctor who’d let me get my tubes tied in my 20’s so I took every other precaution I had available to make sure I didn’t get pregnant. After 3 years of marriage I got pregnant and was determined to abort it but everyone around me especially my husband begged me to reconsider assuring me I’d feel different once she was born. I ended up having my daughter , signing away all parental rights and divorcing him because I didn’t see how we could make it work with a baby I never wanted in our lives. I see my daughter about four times a month when dropping off the 5 dogs we share custody over. My family has virtually disowned me for not having any contact with my daughter who turned 3 last week. Why can’t they just understand that I don’t want to be part of her life? Note: At the insistence of my mother who adores children, I went to several doctors who all confirmed that I’m not suffering from any type of depression and am in perfect health. I just recently got a promotion with a significant pay increase and have a wonderful boyfriend of a year and just couldn’t be happier. Why can’t they be happy for me?

I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier (2.2L). For a while I had been experiencing the oil light coming on if I was coming to a stop at a red light/stop sign. As soon as I would press the gas the light would go out and stay out until I came to a stop again.I changed my oil last weekend and the light came on fewer times in the last week than ever before.When I came home from work yesterday I noticed a knocking from the engine compartment that worsened if I pressed the gas.I called around for advice and was told to change my oil back to 10W-30 from the 5W-30 I had put in last weekend. I did..No change.I called around again for advice and was told these things 1)Main bearings are worn and needs replacement,2)Rocker Arm issue,3)Keep driving it should "work itself out". What could the problem be based on what I have said and how much could I expect to pay for a repair? I've been trying to have garage sale to eliminate excess clutter, but many people that stop act like you should put FREE on everything and constantly offer you about 10% of the asking price. It's already cheap enough - like a 12-place setting dinnerware for $20!!! One guy selected a crystal beverage set (24 lovely stemmed goblets) which I had marked $5 and held out his hand. I said "It's five dollars." Then he said "Yeah, so where's the five?" It appeared he expected me to PAY him $5 to take it off my hands. Such affrontery! I'm really getting soured on garage sales.
